  1. Mine is still sitting in the box waiting for a resolution from pioneer. I'll be jamming my problem-free Z2 until then.
  2. Really?!? I guess you know then how long the Bluetooth echo haunted us and these solutions fixed 90% of the problems for us Z owners. Since the f-series are made by the SAME company, the SAME solutions might work...that's just my thought. I have an F90BT sitting in a box at the house that will be replacing my Z2 but i'm not switching them out until these problems get solved.
  3. Did you guys totally skip over my post on page 3? Maybe you should try this stuff...
  4. I have a Z2 and it was notorious for mic problems. Afew things that helped up in the Z-series forums were: 1) when pairing the phone, make sure the volume is turned less than 1/2 way on the phone 2) set your output to come from the left side only 3) dont turn the output for the voice very high, it can ricochet off the other door and into the mic, causing an echo for the caller on the other end. Try these things and if they dont work, dig around the Z-series forums. Alot of things were tried and there's plenty of info there.
  5. that is for the D3, the BT1 is for the Z-series...
  6. steering wheel controls will need the PAC SWI-PS
  7. this is not good news as I will be switching from a Z2 to the 90bt. Now i'm not sure if I want it anymore. Maybe i'll wait to install it until the bypass/firmware comes out.
  8. I just heard from my Premier dealer, the got their 700BT's in and my F90BT will be there Monday or Tuesday.
  9. Jason, Are you going to attempt the bypass soon? My F90BT will be here next week and i'd like to avoid pulling my dash out after a permanent install...
  10. I'm guessing when she says "Drive 3 comma 8 miles" that its set for Europe. I assume it'll say "point" instead of "comma" for us, just to clarify. Also, I dont see a mute button for the navi voice, am i missing it?
  11. i'd put money on it that it's a self-contained unit just like the D and Z-series.
  12. Aren't we due a new video today??? I want to see how cool these bad boys really are. [/waiting patiently on my F90BT dealer to call me and tell me mine has arrived] EDIT: the new videos are up!!! http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/Navigation
  13. Local authorized Premier dealers are the only way to get the full 2-year Pioneer warranty.
  14. Personally, if I were you, i'd spend the extra $100 for the f90bt for the 4V pre-outs and an extra year warranty. If you were just using a sub the 900 would be sufficient.
  15. Where did you hear that from? I've never heard that before and can't find anything supporting that on the Pioneer website. I'd really like to know. If that's the case, then I can stop spending time searching the internet for an F90BT from an authorized internet dealer. Thanks. When I called Crutchfield to check status of it, they told me the same statement.
  16. are you kidding me? I'll be nice and just post the link... http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=14668
  17. I just discovered that feature like 3 months ago on my Z2 and it is so helpful!! Good to know it's still there.
  18. Find POI along route, now thats a feature we've definitely needed. Going to POI's (gas stations) 10 miles back isnt really a timesaver on long trips.
  19. Keep in mind if you have a question as to if they are authorized, just go to pioneer's website or call them. z06, those prices you got arent too shabby. I suspect with everyone getting them in within the next couple of weeks, there's gonna be some competitive pricing.
  20. so how much easier i the ipod controls? dos it work like the actual click wheel on the ipod??
  21. if any of you have already called or plan on calling, please post their response on here.
  22. just an FYI, they also sell these on monoprice.com for less than $15....
  23. I will say this, when I first called I talked to the manager (without knowing) and he's the one that priced it to me at $950. When I went that same day to make my deposit, the salesman said, "That was the manager you talked to earlier, he gave you a heck of a deal. We're gonna be marking these up at least $100 more than this!" If you do call, just ask how much they will sale one to you for and if they would mind shipping it, don't say, "hey, I heard you were selling F90BT's for $950." Thanks! Here's the info... Car Stereo Warehouse (704) 535-7779
  24. Are you going to tell us where you will be getting yours? I'd rather not because i'd say pioneer watches this site and I dont want the place where i got mine to get in trouble for selling it below what they should be.
