here this should be easier, this is the file i used on mine and the hidden button works for me so just use this and edit however you want, i've done no mods to it yet except adding that hidden button code with the image and ive tested it on my f90bt http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6MPURZC3 I hate sites like this but the file is to big to fit here :/

is this data zip an original 2.0 fw one or is it an older fw version?

do you guys use your old data.zip from the older updates on the new 2.0 update? because the data.zips are quite different they cleaned up some code and added things here and there i think it would be best to move your script edits to the new version :/

it must be hardcoded into an exe which we cant edit very easily :/ sorry but until we get someone to reverse engineer them this is going no where

i agree but i have upgraded chips on my modems before surfboard 5100 to give more memory and its a pita but its doable :/ but yea the risk of bricking isnt worth it

well we need someone who has an extra headunit.... maybe a bricked unit someone doesnt want lol open it up and look around at its insides...

dont forget the ipod touch 2.0 firmware doesnt work with the headunit so the usb cord wont matter, i downgraded back to 1.4 or whatever i had and demanded apple refund me for the download

ok boot into testmode then change the settings and Press OK once you are done turn your car off... the headunit will take a few extra seconds while its going through its own shutdown and once its at the off screen(black) removed the SD card and turn your car back on .... thats it

also like to add having the compass as the delete route should be default as well also i think speed/elevation should be on the nav map at all times

well if anyone wants i can get someone a copy of ida pro .... with a key that will work for awhile anyway :/

I know a guy who does this sort of programming but i cant convince him to work on it for me because he doesnt use the it so its useless to him he says maybe i can bribe him

torrents are for .... beginners, real "pirates" dont use torrents to download too slow and lots have keygen.exe which are just viruses, learn about "Scene Releases" and a thing called newsgroups if you download a lot (Music, Movies, TV Shows, Programs, anything on torrents) im just rambling ignore me

yea you need to use the usb cable to the headunit and change the setting from av1 to ipod

yea using the av1 works but it doesnt charge my ipod then and i like using the ipod function in the headunit i dont want to have a black screen while playing my music and i dont like having to press next on the ipod... much easier using the controls on the headunit itself... my ipod cable is in my armrest and its a pita to keep getting in there while driving

if your running windows vista 64 bit its a different file path so that may play a factor

update, I downgraded my touch back to 1.1.4 and it works again with my f90bt
