Yea I would say the new Z will be out next year... but realy a little over a inch I could care less about.. I am going to change out my D3 and Z2 as soon as its available.

My pioneer installer said that the Z series is not going away right now and will still be out there for the larger screen. He said this his contact at Pioneer said the next generation Z will have the OS that the F series has. But either way I getting the F series.. now.. 2 of them..

Houston is covered my issue is I have read that it is does not always work. Some people say it shows isssues at times and no all the time.

Crutchfield said it would be the end of the month too. Car Toyz in Houston said they would have them ready to install on the 20th of this month. They are already selling them in Europe. My only concern is the bypass...

Nope my installer said all will be in hand by end of the month. And to expect a lot more hype from Pioneer.

My installer says I will be the first on his list.. I have 2 cars going into the shop as soon as he calls me. I saw Crutchfield has it in their catalog I got Monday from them, but they say its not in...

Bypass is so you can use all the programing and DVD while driving. Cost of the 1 time fee for MSN Driect is $60 from what I can tell on their site.

I have seen some people say that its not very good.... XM works in Houston great, it really comes down to your city and how well they monitor traffic.

Has anyone out there used the MSN Direct yet? I use XM traffic here in Houston and it works great, but with the new F-Series coming out I am wondering about the MSN Direct. I am seeing some reviews online not many people seem to like it.

Do you think if the release date is June 8th it will be out sooner? Also ADMIN did you ask if it was going to have to be bypassed like the Z1 or would it be fully functional?

does it ask you to retry if so put the disk back in and keep hitting retry it will keep updating and then it will finish but you will have to keep hitting retry. If not then do a reset.

I will let my Z1 updated to a Z2 go for $1000 with the Bluetooth and sirius adapter.

I have it on both a Z1 and D3 and it I have never been given a detour route... I dont think it does it.

Take it back and get the new F-series coming out in a few weeks... its worth the wait...

Best Buy is always behind on getting them. At least in the Houston are they are...
