  1. If you have multiple phones paired with the Z3 then you would have to manually change the connection every time you get into the car. However, if you use the same phone all the time then it does connect pretty fast, though sound quality and features is nothing to write home about.
  2. Don't you have the manual? Anyway, use a stylus to do this (my installer tossed it so I used my PDA stylus, all the same): 1 Press the V button. The Picture Adjust screen appears. 2 Press and hold the V button for two seconds or more. The 4-point touch panel adjustment screen appears. 3 Touch and hold each of the arrows on the four corners of the screen with the touch panel adjustment pen. Hold the pen on the arrow until each one of the four arrows turns red. 4 Press the V button. The adjusted position data is saved. ❒ Do not turn off the engine while saving the adjusted pos
  3. I did not do the bypass for a long time for the same reason you have, then I found out that the shop used the Pioneer double din installation kit, you only have to pull out the front plastic frame and unscrew 4 screws (2 top, 2 bottom), then the whole thing just slides out from the front. See if you have a plastic frame around the front of the unit and see if you can pull it out with the screen down.
  4. Well, another thing you can try is to unpair your phone, lower the volume of your phone as much as possible, then pair it again.
  5. What about the volume level while using regular or bluetooth headset? Quite a few models of the Motorola has internal settings that you can mod including headset/speaker volume. You would need the USB cable and proper USB driver as well as software to do so, try modmymoto or google it. I used to mod my RAZR and the volume gets a lot higher than stock. Having said that, my iPhones (both original and 3G) work about the same as my RAZR.
