thats what i have and i have NEVER had an issue. most of the time i have used a blackberry. there was a span of about 3 weeks that i used an iphone and it was crap during that time.

my blackberry 9900 works like a charm. never have a problem during calls and connects everytime

i have mine mounted on the dash, where the windshield and dash meet. it is visible, but it doesnt bother me.

man, that sucks. i didnt have this much trouble and i am sorry i am not more help to you. have you tried the reset button. i am just wondering if the unit is just looking for the original disc or the disc the last owner was using, no chance the guy has the disc he was using?

i am pretty sure Nero has been used by some of the other member. i did not use the software i listed above. it was actually PowerISO. i am sorry for the confusion. 4x was the speed

i have always used the Memorex Dual Layer DVD's without fail. got them from office depot. i use ISOMagic software at the slowest possible speed. good luck

hmmmm, first time i have heard of this. i have changed the battery in my car, but i didn't have any trouble with my unit.

it has no memory. in order to recieve directions, the nav disc must be in. listen to a cd, the nav disc must be out

I am not speaking for the guy, but the last line of his quote was " What they are exactly I do not know at this time", so we will have to see after he gets the discs in his hands. regardless if its just a map upgrade or both, i will be upgrading.
