I use a 16Gb Class 6 card and it works like a charm for music and video. thats different... black, I'm not giving up, I will have a way to do it... even if i have to switch the hdd on myself... which isnt that big of a deal, i dont want the inverter running 350watts the whole time... thats 29/28 amps... and I have much more music than I can fit on the largest thumbdrive (32gb i believe) Its hard for me not to have a hdd....

ok, so i figured out why the hdd doesnt get read when the unit boots up... it's because the unit starts up too fast, the hdd doesnt have time to boot up... I'll prob mount a switch somewhere and connect it to the inverter... this way i can start up the hdd whenever I want...

I don't think you are entitled to talk, you have 13 posts... Tonya, listen... go to your dealer advise them of the issues, see what they say, maybe you can swap it out for another unit. Please understand there are units that are doa (dead on arrival.) As your dealer said, there are issues with the unit, but (and big but) Pioneer is supposedly working on them and are trying to fix the problems with updates (and yes, you update more issues may arise) so if you can first try to swap out the unit, and be patient. keeper, i found another bug in yours (I dont have it) the blue box which has time to dest/distance/speed it is a button that points to [unamed] it gives a windows error, maybe just remove the button? or have it point to results ?

Keeper you also seem to have the same issue as i am in settings... go under settings, system settings (one to the right of navi settings), language... try to change the language or voice... the unit crashes... I dont know why, I have the same issue in my version, and im trying to resolve it...

does anyone have a clicking coming from the cd-drive when playing a cd for about 30min... it looks as if it gets too hot and starts clicking, once you eject the cd click stops... then it starts again once the cd is in... strange

you know... considering they fecked up they should have upgraded you to 90bt free... that is some bs... if your car caught on fire or worse blew up and did damage, they would have to be held liable... if I were you I would remove it from the car and go elsewhere... no matter how you look at it they fucked up and gave you nothing for it
