You may have an issue similar to the blackberry where people had to transfer contacts separtely as Business and Personal or something like that. This BB issue is mentioned on here somewhere...

Just received shipment confirmation from J&R also on my 900bt, $839 is a great price but the wait (1.5months) was horrendous. My wife kept askig me when it was coming cause she was driving the car with the hole in the dash.

J&R told me they will have stock on 8/8. I been backordered since 6/25.

i just used the one from Crutchfield. It looks ok until you touch the border, its a little loose.

You can do those commands. Based on manual pg 148. button > Pause the music. You have to keep VR catalogue on all the time also i noticed. I also was able to do the contact name calling. i.e button > call Mike With contacts your phonebook have to be transferred first.

The manual says that button is just a preset for the audio traffic channel which you can set.

Well i can answer #3. There is no XM NavTraffic on the F Series, you can only access traffic through MSN.

I was told from the other members, no. I had a 700bt and it was not there. I just sent it back for a 900bt in hopes of using the traffic feature of MSN which will reroute you.

my f700bt did the same thing. I leave VR on and ipod connected. My total start up time is 2:45 but i only have 2000 songs. Weirdly i just sent the unit back cause J&R has the 900bt for $830 and when i was going to get the unit taken out the audio dies on me.

New f700 install coming from kenwood 5120, experiencing most of the same issues as everyone else. But ipod voice control works when i keep the VR Catalogue enabled.
