if you are trying to just change the image, do what the post above talks about, if your trying to revert back. I'm not sure what to do, but i'd start by deleting the folowing text out of sys.txt, and removing your car3d.bmp image. I'm actually looking to do the same thing, as I don't really like my own arrow anymore, so I'll be working to figure this out aswell.

hey guys, I'm back, I'm sorry i went to Vegas for the weekend. And nothing makes you want to get back to editing the files of your head unit like a 4 hour traffic ridden drive to and from Vegas. I'll be lurking for a bit to see where projects stand. But I can't wait to get back to it.

Keeper, i could be wrong but if he just duplicates the traffic button from the quick launch that should work right? You'd have to get the X,Y cords right, but that should work.

that was part of keeper's release, it's the bg for the 5 box quick launch

ok,just got home, that data.zip has an incorrect bmp for the hide quick launch bar. So i have to fix that. But here are some pics..

Ok, that code works, I just have to redit KillRoute.bmp to look like the other buttons in the quick launch. Will post data.zip once I'm done.

OK, here's what I added, does this look right?

Just a quick update, I took Kevin's data.zip, moved the stop nav and the voice mute a column to the left of the Compass column. Showing the Quick Launch works great. But now is there a way to set the 5th button on the quick launch to hide that bar? All in all, I'm very happy now with how things are looking. All I need to do is replace the arrows and the 3dcar with the arrows I made.

keeper22, any chance you know what bmp is used as the background for the current call display? I noticed it blocks the route data on the left of the screen and wanted to see if i could make it transparent or a different size.

Figured this may be a good place to ask this, does anyone have a good starting point to go off of here of is it based solely on your car's environment. I too can't seem to get the right sound through the EQ. Some songs sound great while others I get rattled out of my car by the Bass. It's hard for me to try to find a starting point. Or is there a place online where I can research and learn how to adjust the system properly? What do you guys use?

That's fine keeper, just make sure you have commented in your ui file where everything is so I can find it.

Keeper, any chance of developing a shortcut button on the map screen to bring up your buttonbar? That way we can show and hide it?

Rooke have you tried reloading the flash disk from a backup? Meaning delete everything on there and reload your backup in it's place?
