I got a good password and my update completed with no problems. I did get that error ( "Update Failed" hit retry to continue). It came up twice, i hit retry both times and it finished. The last time was at 99%, that got me worried but it completed with no errors. My F700 is so much better. It is much improved, too bad it was not like this 13 months ago when i got the unit. I guess the wait paid off. I was thinking of getting a Z110BT regardless of the outcome of this update but now i don't think i will.

My update completed successfully! I took a test drive, all is good! I have 3.0 and also now have 3G in my area (AT&T iPhone 3G)

God for bid they just gave us a link to download the new update & Maps after we purchased them online. They could of still took security precautions. No, lets make this more complicated for the honest consumer! Seriously, PIONEER, GET THIS SHIT FIXED NOW!!!

I registered Mine a year ago when i got it. I Have the problem as well.

Boy, if pioneer had their shit together, i could actually view those screens in person, but oh no, i'm stuck with half an update for the weekend, who knows, longer. Ican't believe it, if it is not one thing its another.

Anyone have any luck yet? I lived in Japan for a couple years, they work a lot on saturdays, im keeping my fingers crossed it will be up soon. I can't tell you how aggrevated i am, been looking forward to this for, well a year! Since i bought the unit. Also where i live in Florida, AT&T just got 3G service today, finally, i got my iPhone 3G a year ago but didn't have 3G service where i live. A year later, i have it! Just happens to be the same day i get the 3.0 update for my AVIC. I knew it was all to good to be true.

I think their whole ploy is to make everyone give up on the update and go buy a new X series! I think that is why the new update took so long to be released, and now this!

Me Too same issues! What a load of crap! I too have been patiently waiting for this update for over a month, now i get it and this is what i get! Now i am officially annoyed with pioneer! I am sitting in my car typing this with half an update for the rest of the weekend.Seriously pioneer! I do feel bad for the earthquake victims but Come on!!

I got my VR update setting back after i did 2.06, i lost it before. But after 2.06 i lost TTS so i am hoping that will come back after 3.0 or 3.01, what ever its going to be.

No i never did, but when i did the last update, it came back. However i lost my TTS. I'm hoping after i upgrade to 3.0, it will all be good!

They are the same size. Even the harness's are the same.If the F90 fits, the X910BT will also. I have seen some killer deals on E-bay and Amazon. Although, they are not from authorized pioneer reps. I bought my F700 a year ago from E-bay right when they were released, i got a killer deal and have not had one problem with mine, except the occasional know bugs, but even those didn't really give me a problem. Buy the X910, I almost updgraded to it. I found that if i were, all i would have to do is swap it out with my F700 and it would work.

Yeah i ordered mine VIA the web. Much better than calling too. I got e-mailed a receipt and a link to download the files! I'm Updating my F700 right now!!

Prices do not look too bad. Also on Pioneers website, it no longer says "Coming Soon" on each models website. I take it they have beeen released.
