  1. Sooo many people talk about a solution, but heres a solution. Im using an AVIC-Z3 with the CD-IB100II Issues and I can 100% charge my iPhone SG3 (16GB) with the Kensington 4-in-1 Car Charger. I got it from amazon for about $21.99 from amazon. Works GREAT. Downside is: If you are plugging it directly into your iPhone you may have issues with your case, as with most adapters. I have a silicon case and hafta move it around a bit to make it fit. But if your also like me, where you have a seperate dock (like my Pro-Clip dock thats coming) it won't matter much since the kensington will get
  2. Ohh yes I wanted to post a message about that. The famous "Kensington 4-in-1 Car Charger" worked like a CHARM. PERFECTLY. The only issue I had was that the extension cable I got didnt quite make a 100% tight connection with it, so thats going back, but otherwise it works great. The ONLY downside is, if you have a silicon case or other case (i have a silicon) you kinda hafta move it around the kensington to make a secure connection. Since I have another extension cable coming AND/OR im using a pro-clip dock, its not a big deal for me, since the case won't touch it... Anyway, upd
  3. Okay... so I have an AVIC-Z3 and recently installed a CD-IB100II interface. 1) I realize the system will not charge my iPhone (i have the iPhone 3G3 16GB), i have an adapter coming in the mail to correct this. 2) The system does work out of the box with my iphone for music playback. iPhone controls in the iPod section are not accessible, but I can use the Pioneer AVIC-Z3 to control it (slow of course, but it works). Now.. weird issue. I had maybe 20-25 albums on, and controlled the iPhone with my Pioneer AVIC-Z3... I recently added the Beatles entire collection that just came out a

  5. Good question. With my Avic-D1 I was able to put the street in, and click the button next to it to put an intersection... havnt found this in the Z3 yet which is annoying...
  6. Add the Verizon Treo 700wx to the list. Transfering contacts is not supported And if a blocked caller calls, the caller ID on the AVIC shows the last call you talked to. Very weird.
  7. I found this site via google, glad its here... ive been a Pioneer user for years and with my new AVIC-Z3 i needed verification on which wires. ANYWAYS.. I just put an Avic-Z3 in my new truck... along with bluetooth. Like some here, i had issues, and was upset, i REALLY wanted bluetooth.. Well someone said you need a 6 digita passcode, so i tried a 6 digit one, yeah still no luck.. so THEN i tried "000000" 6 zeros... and sure enough THAT actually worked. Works nicely. I havnt installed my mic yet (i FORGOT to, i'll do it later its a piece of cake)... but its great. WHat a nice featu
