yes, the volume controls require a light touch on the back of the remote. Either that, or you can put an equal amount of pressure on the front side so that it wont fly off the restrant. The remote looks like crap, and doesnt come close to an oem look. I dont like how it makes my interior look, but it is functional. Also, the IF makes it very hard to use in sunlight.

Doesn't the C5 have a 1.5 din opening? You need to get a custom dash bezel to make it double din. Costs around 300 to make, or considerably cheaper if you make it yourself.

yeah, installers aren't cheap. I dont know about your AC controllers, but why dont you just install the Z1 yourself? There is an entire community here to help you.

have you checked if the RCA cables connectors are touching some other wires while in the dash?

what kind of rca cables are you using to hook up your source? Sounds like you are getting a lot of noise from your connections.

Yes, I know the avic z2 will not support divx. I was just saying that there is no reason to switch, because there are no additional features like divx on the other panasonic unit.

looks pretty ghetto to me. The screen and icons don't look as refined as the Z1 does. There is also no mention of supporting divx. So, all in all, I don't think I will be buying that anytime soon.

I do that with the creative vision w that I have. The only bad part about it, is that you have to grab the media player controls to operate it. You wont be able to control it through the pioneer interface.

no they do not share the same interface at all
