  1. Well my unit works great since the last update. There are some features I would like added but the unit does what it is supposed to every time with ZERO problems. Also I just returned from a 3500 mile trip to Idaho and the Navigation even worked going to 2 different back country hunting camps several miles off the paved roads. I agree that those who are so unhappy with their unit that they can not seem to stay rational should get rid of them and go on to something else. BTW the title of this Forum is "General:F-Series", not specific to problems like the next Forum titled "Problems/Trou
  2. F-series model: 90BT Phone make/model: Sony W810i Ease of connection: Very Easy Phone book transfer: 150 Contacts with multiple numbers transfered in 5 seconds, update on 90BT after transfer about 30 seconds. After 2.0 now have Cell, Home, Office with names. Sound quality: After 2.0 Very Good. Comments: I have used several Bluetooth devices from several different companies and have found that if the critical part is the phone.
  3. When you say Tuner are you talking about the Sirius Unit or the Pioneer Unit? I have one of the Sirius Units plugged into a USB interface to my PC and the PC software can display all items at the same time. In fact it has 1 screen that shows all channels at once with the title and artist.
  4. Installed 2.0 today, everything works well. Boot time less than 30 secs and touch screen response is much faster. Bluetooth is much better. My Sony phone paired right up and phonebook transfer was a snap. Contacts are now include Home, Office, Cell and etc. When making calls the phone management box is always there and several people remarked about the sound being better on their end. Samantha no longer say turn right on 370 Highway 370. She just says turn right on Highway 370, much better. So far i am very happy with this release. Only thing that I would still like fixed is HD and Sirius
  5. When this happens to me I remember to put the parking brake on and the gray goes out and I can enter the password.
  6. Mine did the same thing, turned out that the volume set itself to zero.
  7. I bought my AVIC-90BT locally from an authorized dealer for $1099 but it came with a $300 gift card from them so the price was really $799.
  8. I think the blame lies with the companies that make the steering wheel adapters. They must be sending out the wrong code for 'Mute'. I base this on having 2 Pioneer Radios and the 90BT and all of them acting t he same.
  9. Found it, when I set one of the POI groups to display I put 1 of them into Satellite view.
  10. I have had 2 Pioneer radios and now the 90BT and every one of them did this. Also have had a PAC and Periphials steering wheel adapter with same results.
  11. I found that you can bring up a POI from the SD, do a 'Save As' and save the POI into the Nav Unit as POI, Pin or Favorite. After doing this I could take the SD out of the unit and they were still there.
  12. To Gortok: Yes that works but really would like to use it if I could set it back to a more reasonable distance. Thanks, Dwight
  13. Yes I can but when the auto zoom out kicks in it goes back to the satellite view. Before I changed the setting I can not find now it zoomed out to about 10 miles. The setting I changed had three options, satellite, something like far and mid. But I can not find it now. Just installed yesterday, box had a blue sticker on it for already having update. Seems to work very nice except for address book not showing home, work, cell and others. Also presets doe not show freq. Other than that Blue Tooth works great and music and rear camera start in about 5/10 seconds after starting car. Thanks
