  1. I have been looking at my wiring harness for awhile. I believe the 12V wire is an ignition control/sensor and the 3.5mm jack is the actual power to the device. The yellow 12V would need to be wired correctly so it would know when to shut down/turn on automatically.
  2. I can't download. I think the servers are working overtime. Can't wait for this. The iPod issues have been hit and miss and was annoying at times. Does anyone know if the direction up is available on 2D mode in this upgrade? Thanks for the heads up.
  3. I'm glad you got further than I did with the Q9C. I was able to pair, but was not able to upload my contacts. Further more, when on a call via bluetooth, I kept hearing noise (possibly electrical). It was a problem I heard on the handset itself prior owning the F900BT, but when hearing through my speakers of my car, the noise was annoying. I ended up with the Sprint Mogul which I had laying around.
  4. Well.. I spoke too soon. So far the iPod works about 95% of the time even with VR Library disabled. When I do get a "iPod Connection Failure", the remedy so far that has worked is to disconnect and reconnect and this gets the iPod up and running within seconds.
  5. I have the same issue when using the iPod with the F900BT during Day 3 to Day 9 since owning the unit. Eventually the problem stopped occuring and I could not duplicate the problem. Since I do not sync my iPod very often, I did try the suggestion of a previous post to go ahead and disable the VR database update upon connection. So far, so good.
  6. I was a user of XM Traffic and with the AVIC D2 for 2 and a half years until recently. The unit went bad and was replaced with a service plan from a local retail store and ended up with the F900BT in exchange. I tried the MSN Direct service since it was free for the first 3 months. I have been trying to use it for the past 3 weeks and I must say, life was better with XM. The XM was great where it provided real time traffic immediately and provided a better visual on the map where it would highlight the roads in red, yellow or green. For MSN, unfortunately the information is not so in
