update, the unit is fully functional.....I went to my friends house who had one installed and he tested it with his car and everything worked! I guess i just have to wait on the correct harness.

check your fuses, its happened to my honda a few times swapping decks.

For external amps you hook up the remote wire on the rca harness to turn it on when your deck comes on. You cant turn the unit off, just the source and screen under menu....everything else idk since i dont have a factory amp, just external aftermarket...

the power wire harness i got with the d3 has no wire for braking brake....tha 1 slot is empty like it got pulled out or something....do i have to buy a new power wire harness or can i use some type of wire? thanks here is the pinout diagram, hope this helps.

i will check that as soon as the rca harness gets here.... this part an easy install? I guess its not too big of a deal since i will be running an external amp soon............

originally the only thing i had to modify were the positions of the f and r speaker pins they were neg/pos neg/pos and i modified them according to the diagram attached below......pos/neg pos/neg

actually it looks like there are grounds for the front and rear on the rca harness......maybe bc i dont have the rca harness connected is the reason why im not getting sound...... even though im not using any rca connections.

I got a used unit off of ebay from 2ndturn and was listed as working. I located a harness on ebay and it turns out that the harness is not for the d3 but for the d1 or d2. I found the pinout for the d3 and modified the harness accordingly but i get no sound from my stock radio w/ no amp and stock speakers. Currently i dont have the rca harness but its on the way but i dont think that not having the rca harness plugged in would affect sound if im not using an amp anyway..... any suggestions? thx - Corn

thx for the diagram but I got a d3 power harness and the speaker wires are reversed example..... 1- gray/black 3- gray it also had the a mute wire in the vss spot(#10)....very odd.

my unit works perfectly now
