  1. I was able to integrate both the SpeedCam mods and Mavs mods... But after trying several times to add the Speedcam mods to Mavs mods I gave up. I ended up using the posted Speedcam Data.zip file that is already completed and then adding Mavs mods individually. It took longer to do this way, as there are several great mods in Mavs DATA.zip... But it worked. I now have all of Mavs mods AND the speedcam warnings!
  2. I have a Corsair 32gb USB memory stick that works just fine with the 900bt... but I still prefer my 32gb Itouch simply because of the ease of navigating the media. I have also used a 16gb SD card on the 900bt... So that is also an option for you. T
  3. Let me enlighten you all a bit about the business of online retail... I am the operations manager for an online retailer that does between $100 and $350k per month in sales. We ship with both Fedex and UPS dependent on the size/weight of the package and its destination. We make it very clear that it takes 1-2 business days for us to process and ship an order. We also state that shipping times for our FREE ground delivery is 1-5 business days. BUT there is a caveat that once the package has left one of our warehouses and is in the care/custody of the carrier we are not responsible for delays.
  4. Vary rarely, I have the Ipod not recognized. I simply unplug it and plug it back in while the radio is on and it becomes recognized. Also, just to be clear... you need to select the ipod as the AV1 selection. If neither of these are the issue, maybe a bad cable??? PS: I am running the 32gb Itouch with the same firmware on the ipod and the AVIC.
  5. I get a great signal in SoCal... I always have the max number of bars of reception. It takes about 5 minutes for all of the data to load.
  6. WOW, $27? I am VERY happy with my NuShield screen protector and it cost $10 for two of them!
  7. Christ isnt going to help this horrible situation any!
  8. That makes for a hell of a security feature! Just memorize what all the buttons said!
  9. And it just pisses the rest of us off really bad! I posted a link to a great DATA.zip in your OTHER post.
  10. Just download and install Mavs Data.zip from here... http://avic411.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=19864
  11. I have the exact same issue with my backup camera. I have adjusted the contrast and brightness settings and it made very little difference.
  12. Roger that Boris, I will do this over in that order and report back later today. Thank you, T
  13. Mav, I am stuck in a quandary... I REALLY like the look and usefulness of your GUI. But I really require the use of the traffic cam alerts. I have tried desperately to combine the DATA.zip posted for the quick install with your DATA.zip and there must be something conflicting because the system hangs. I then went and tried to manually enter your additions to the already built traffic cam DATA.zip and that didnt work either. Could I possibly offer to make a donation to your cause in order to have you or someone else add the traffic cam abilities to YOUR DATA file? T
  14. Ok, I just took a little trip and tested this further. I guess my issue may be different than others because I have also added some things from other data files. I no longer have a 2D/3D button and the 2D option is not available in settings. I will go back and replace my data.zip with the last copy that I have.
  15. WOW, you guys are on it... I just noticed that the 2d/3d toggle button is actually missing from my screen in both IN/OUT of route mode. Also, when I go in to the Navigation settings / Visual settings... the 2D settings are not even there. 3D is the only option to adjust settings.
  16. Yes it will work. Many people here have used it.
  17. I would use one of the rubber grommets like are used in the firewall of most vehicles to run cables from the engine compartment to the cabin.
  18. I am someone who all too often fails to thank others for their hard work... But this was a GREAT addition to my Pioneer! I live in SoCal where there are red light cameras ALL OVER, and although I am not one to run them I have occasionally tempted the yellow light! This mod was perfectly painless and is extremely accurate from what I have seen over the past couple days. It has not missed one, and warned me of 6 different ones! Thank you!!! T
  19. In audio settings on the avic, make sure that IPOD is listed as AV1. For some reason, when I updated mine it somehow changed that setting on the avic and I didnt have audio either. But I found the issue when I went through the audio settings. T
  20. I have the Samsung BJ II and it paired and transferred the entire contact list in one shot. Of my 5 phones, it was the only one to work this well. T
  21. I just received and installed the Nu-shield protector. It is marketed as an anti-glare coating but I really dont see that it helps with that very much. It will however provide very good protection for the touch screen and it doesnt effect the sensitivity at all. This is a NON adhesive screen protector. It is slightly larger than the visible LCD and is fitted under the frame. You DO NOT need to remove the frame/bezel but will need to work it under. And by the way, I dont recall the website stating that 2 shields were included, but I did receive two of them for the price I paid. T
  22. I just purchased and installed a screen protector. It was a non adhesive screen protector that was slightly larger than the lcd. With a few seconds of work, I was able to work it under the frame and you cant even tell it is on. It also had no effect at all on the functionality or responsiveness of the screen.
  23. My 32gb ITouch stays in my glove box. It comes one with the ignition and turns off about 2 minutes after turning the ignition off. When the car is started it begins right where it left off. When I had my 160gb ipod, it stayed in the truck for 6 months and never got unplugged or taken out.
