i would really love this... cause my car gauges are white, then at night... its all reddish. beautiful man. So i changed my Avic unit to mostly RED too... problem is... its RED in the too. sure looks nice at night though.

Its slightly more reddish-orange i know that, lol i only said that it would be a type if red of shade of red (I know this will make Fen911 happy). Also with the top bar, if you change it, the buttons on top when in FM mode (EQ, and FUNTION), they turn pinkish. It matches inside my car pretty nice. As for number 2... i dont understand what you mean specifically so your gonna have to take a pic and leave notes on it like I did cause i only used like 2 or 3 buttons from GUGA max. i dont remember using his file extensively at all since his changes are pretty minor, mostly icons and whatnot. your basically looking at it. I took his file... the updated blue apple theme, and i changed everything that was blue. done it all by hand with photoshop, using color balance, and hue/saturation. I made some revisions too:

Give me some time to take care of any blemishes and ill post it up. Also as for orange... try out the shades of red and see how you like it. Cause it still might blend with your system (Nissan uses orange+red theme), im pretty sure orange can be done easily but time consuming. but i recently found out about the "action" which makes it all faster.

yeah i got a copy, it still needs more puffy buttons from Basketcase but its pretty much done. I wish I had the before and after pics because i fixed a lot of things that makes my eyes twitch... like factory phone settings where EVERYTHING was boring and blue. well you can... 1. turn the knob until the volume is to zero or 2. you can press the knob down and hold it for 2 seconds and that will mute music. but as for a button to turn it off.. i dont know cause no one has really done that here

Looks like your using different arrows for turning left and right correct? where did you get these? where are they located? cause the U-turns in our Avics look ugly

You ever notice that when you do the voice command to call someone like "John Doe"... the unit returns the acknowledgment by saying... Calling John Doe GENERAL. Can this code be located? and removed?

There is a lot of beautiful rows and rows of code, and on top of that, neatly organized and they follow a proper pattern too. Almost as if there was a grammer for the code or something, makes it easy to locate everything. good call on the advmenu.ui because i didnt know there was more coded involved with that. yeah, should work. I remember reading about this problem, and it wasnt the mods that was the problem its the bypass mod. 128 or whatever was the speed you changed to trick the system, but thats in kmph.. if you convert that to mph that is around 60 so miles an hour... you see? so you gotta rise up the number to trick the unit at a faster speed, im pretty sure. dont quote me... and I did the hardware bypass which is much more awesome.

well you dont need to do the silencer mod cause you can lower the beeps in the master volume... but it lowers the voice command volume too. Other then that, i have no idea why it would be rebooting. Sounds like maybe the software mod wasnt done correctly, but i could be wrong. Change your speed setting to 256 or something.

GTI MATT, 1 more question... that green square icon. Is that the street button? and Clicking on that will make traffic show? as in MSN traffic? Also no trying to tear apart your work or anything (even though I am... lol) but lets say for the compass, I dont need the Lat/Long since im not in the military or navy. So in the code with the compass, I replace the onrelease='run sc_Lat/long.... to ((onrelease='run sc_btnARM_Itineary_OnRelease' visiblemodel="navigation.has_route">)) and delete all the c14 data and it will work right?

I opened up the sound file and played them, they seem to be cut off at the beginning. is that correct? Also how do I get the Itinery screen up cause you said "call Itinery" not sure what that means. Can the custom boxes color be changed to a small shade of red? Im looking at the code and im not exactly sure where to begin. thanks!

i changed my time zone on purpose by 1 hour from CA to AZ to try and trick the unit... i dont know if it would work cause i only tested it once. kinda pisses me off that this unit can find your exact location from space but it cannot tell the correct time.

whoa whoa whoa, im still on XP. I didnt know that that you had 7. Beta test? (off topic I know) I wish we can collaborate on this, and help post up other colors with you too. Kinda like the Nano, you like the style but you want different colors with it. Red is what im aiming for. I also wish i could go on that business trip too. Kinda out of a job (Thanks Circuit City ). I bet a Ipod + pink theme would be hot with the girls (maybe even me ).
