  1. I have never updated them. They are the maps that came with the units that have the 2.0 update already installed. I think the maps were dated 2007, but it could have been early 2008.
  2. I downloaded and mine still shows the same piece of sh**...cough,cough...I mean bread symbolizing the restaurants as always. LOL.
  3. I deleted everything in the folder flashdrive. It sounds as though you deleted the flash drive itself from the machine. I would assume that you can still load it, but I didn't go so far as to do that.
  4. I wiped just about everything from my unit. It gave an error message for about 3 files saying that they were unable to be deleted. Everything else was cleared. I was able to load everything back up. Took about 15 minutes to delete all files and about 20-25 to load them all back. Try an empty sd card with just the test mode file and see if the unit starts. It should. If it works then just load the sd card with the approximately 1.7 gigs of files and transfer them to the machine.

    peace out.

After deleting all files and turning it back to a stock unit, I tried reinstalling this mod. It uninstalled very easily and looks very pretty. I found this mod to still be somewhat unstable with my device. When shuffling between menus, I found that the previous menu would remain on the screen. Besides those flaws for me, it seems to be a nice mod.

    peace out.

I installed this mod and my f90 keeps restarting now. I am dumbfounded. I retried dling and installing twice on two different computers. Not going very well for me. I am going to try to reinstall my backup. Perhaps it is because I had other mods done previously? I don't really understand. I just had mavericksters mods plus a few others. **update** I was able to get my unit back to the factory position. I will try reloading one of cmh928's different unzip mods and see if I can get a different one to work.
  7. My phone does it too. If you dial from the phone, the AVIC will ring. Only from the contact list, it will not ring.
  8. It would be great if all IPODs worked. It sucks to have to go buy a new ipod just because your new radio doesn't support it.
  9. I changed all of mine using a computer program. I do not know what the program is called. There are several of them available, just search for media converters. I am not sure if there is an easier way.
  10. SD card is slow for some reason...it has about a 10-15 second lag on my unit. When using a USB card with the same media files, the lag is only about 2 seconds.
  11. I hooked up a 160 GB USB and it worked. It was very sluggish, but it managed. Songs played fine....it was the video that was poor. I use an 8 GB USB everyday and it works fine.
  12. So I am kind of bummed that I have to buy a new ipod to go with the avic-90bt. I didn't check the compatibility until I purchased the unit. Anyway, now I need to try to get all of my songs onto a new ipod. I see that there are lots of programs out there to rip songs from ipods. If anyone has a key for any ipod ripping software that they feel like sharing, please PM me. Or if you have any freeware that won't limit me to the amount of songs that I can rip at a time, please post or PM me. Thanks
  13. I am guessing that it is not in correct format. I had that problem too, it is the same movies that will not play in my ps3. I believe all movies have to be in divx format to be playable. Anyone know if we can download more codecs to put on the avics and perhaps then we can play more types of movies?
