any issue to this?? same here, I need to connect the iphone every time I get in the car, and put the password 0000, i was hoping it would be saved....

my current location is accurate but the arrow is upside down...it only drives sideways and upside down....im sooo anooyed with this D3

One more with the arrow issue...sometimes it's pointing up, and other times it points to every angle possible...

that red triangle used to be only facing UP on my D2...as u can see in the 2nd picture, now it's facing every freaking possible angle LOL

I use that pointer on the bottom right hand, but on one of the angles it's going from left to right let's say, and when i press it it goes from up to down (soouth as opposed to north). Im honestly considering throwing it away, but it must be some setting that makes it do this. Maybe the antenna is installed the wrong way that it goes from north to south? here go a couple of pics.. they are taken 30 seconds apart and you can see on the bottom right hand corner, that the arrow was pressed. In the first pic, the map goes sideways, and in the 2nd one it goes from north to south helpppppppp

It ended up working after all... Another concern: is there a setting where it allows me to only go up on the screen when I drive, meaning always going north? For example, let's say I go up a certain street, (street A) and then I make a right on street B can the whole map switch so I would go UP on street B as opposed to going from left to right? I had the D2 for 5 years and I guess I got used to that as opposed to going sideways om the screen. I don't know if I asked my question clearly, but I hope you guys get the main idea...

I just upgraded from a D2 to a D3, and overall I'm pleased with the new uinit. I was just wondering how come this D3 doesnt automatically recalculate the route, i have to go to the button RECALCULATE in order for it to do it. I missed an exit on purpose to see how it does it, and it never recalculated LOL

this says XM, didnt sirius and XM merge? Im looking for the Howard Stern channels and for the Traffic button to work on the D3, thats the main reason for subscribing to Sirius/XM

Hi everyone, I tried looking for solutions to my screen problem, I did the DIY's from this forum but i still failed miserably. I would like to bring my car to a pioneer center somehwere in the Los Angeles area. I checked onlinebut didt really get any locations. Does anyone know of any Pioneer repair centers?

how do you press the "+" sign in step 17 if the bottom right corner of the screen is dead? Thats exactly where the plus sign is...

The problem I'm facing is that my entire bottom right hand side of the screen is dead, so I cant move that "+" sign (step 17 of the write-up)...everything worked fine until that step, but since i cant click on the "plus" sign, i guess im stuck When I turn on the car and I get those 2 disclosure messages which I have to click OK, that's where my GPS experience ends...im not able to click OK since that OK is at the bottom right hand side of the screen I think I haveto contact Pioneer, I hope they have repair centers in the Los Angeles area...

I'm at the point that I need to change the screen on my D2, i cant even press "OK" when I first turn on the car, the only way it works is when I use a sharp pen all the way in the bottom right hand corner...pressing OK hasnt worked for months, there must be dead pixels... is that a hard process to change a screen? are there places that actually do it? i saw new screens on ebay for fair prices but im wondering who can actually change it for me thanks everyone!!!

my car battery was starting to die, so I changed it 45 min ago with a brand new one everything got rebooted, like the clock and date on my dashboard, as well as the AVIC D-2 clock, beepp options, etc. Now, when I press SOURCE i only have the CD and RADIO option, where did AV go? i didnt touch the nav, so the hookups didnt possibly change any thoughts...?

if you want just TRAFFIC, can u get it without subscribing to XM or SIRIUS, or it doesnt work without satellite radio? thanks

i've had the D3 since it came out and still havent installed it...im using the D2 and have kept the D3 in my garage for several months now... has anyone in the LA area use a specific installer which they were very happy with? (quality and price?).. thanks

im sure this was covered before, but when are the new bluetooth modules CDBTB200 supposed to hit the market? might as well wait for them to come out instead of buying the CDBTB100's.. thanks
