Yeah there are. You don't always pay that close of attention to the signs though. I drive a lot for work and would like to the audible notification for areas that I am not familliar with. More of a convenience than necessity.

Thanks Boris. You are on the right track. I guess I phrased ir wrong in my question. So, where is the original file? Do I edit it or make a new file with the coordinates?

Thanks IDT, but, that only allows me to add them manually. I am looking for a way to just upload all the coordinates.

I am running GTI Matt's hack and have red light cameras enabled on my F90. I also downloaded the red light camera POI from POIFriend.com for Chicago. Now, I can get the downloaded cameras to appear as a POI, but, how do I get them to warn me that I am coming up to one?

Nope. Not worth it. The bypass is the same as the F-Series. You move the pin on the mute wire, ground that and the parking brake wire, and you're done. Do a search on here for the Avic F Series bypass and you'll get a detailed how to with pictures.

my screen was dead after a week in the car. pioneer replaced it under warranty.

I just installed an Eclipse in my wife's 04 Jetta with Monsoon. All in all it was straight forward. I used the PAC adapters, Metra antenna adapter, and the Pioneer cage. I ran the accessory power The only reason that I used the PAC stuff is to retain the steering wheel controls and to get the VSS. They claim that using the adapter gives you the ability to get acc power and illumination. I have not been able to get that piece to work. I ran the accessory wire from the far left bolt under the bottom dash cover on the driver side. I tapped a wire behind the light switch for illumination. I ran th

I have posted about this before, but, I now have a video. Has anyone else seen this issue where the speed fluctuates when you're stopped? I think that this contributes to the recalculating issue. http://s125.photobucket.com/albums/p59/ ... D00002.flv

Alright, I have searched and found nothing on this specific item. When I am stopped at a red light, or stop sign, or a parking lot, the speed indicator shows anywhere from 0 to 8 mph and sometimes causes the route to recalculate. my VSS is hooked up to the harness. I have a 2008 VW Rabbit.

I have searched but have not found the answer. Maybe there are some answers out there. I know of the Samantha route recalculation issue. But, when I am sitting at an intersection the arrow sometimes goes in circles, the screen tilts, and it recalculates the route. Is there anyhting that I can do to changethat? It happens with Jason too.

You have to subscribe to MSN Direct and it will show you the colors. Yellow and Red. It could be city dependant though. I live in Chicago.

Yes, but it also comes with a wired mic if you so choose. That's good news! Is it that little hole next to the eject button? I tested it out and there is NO other mic aside from the wired one. The little hole next to the eject is the reset button

Same problem in test mode and nothing on the screen. I got the unit on Friday of last week. Kind of a bummer. I hope that the rest of my experience with Pioneer will be better.

I cannot get into the settings menu because you need the touch screen. Is there a manual way to get it started? I push and hold the menu button and it brings me to an allignment screen but I cant continue because you have to click ok on the screen

Hey guys. I just got a F90BT. I am having an issue with the touch screen. It does not respond at all to screen taps. It powers on, starts up fine, the map, menu and eject button work fine. If i put a DVD in, the sound plays and the volume knob works. I have reset the unit hitting reset and by holding down reset button for 15 seconds. If I hold down the menu button down it goes into a screen alignment screen, but, I can't tap ok. I also booted into test mode and the screen did not respond. HELP!!!
