  1. Hmmm. Now today it is working again so far.....
  2. Why would that work though. It worked perfectly till the updates were done. What is the diference in the cables? It sucks to have to buy a new cable when I already have one that worked.
  3. Hi all. I have an f90bt. Was working perfectly since xmas. Recently did the 3.01 update. Sound has been lower on all functions(Read that others noticed lower volume since update too). 30 used to be loud, now more like 40. Then today I realized when listening to music from my iPhone it was playing through only the right channel. Anyone have any insight into this problem?
  4. Mine did the same with my f90bt and my iPhone 3g.I would always just press use handset. Now with the 3.0 update it works perfectly! Do the update and your problems will be solved.
  5. Sweet, Done! Thanks for files and help!
  6. It's downloading. I had bittorrent but no go. I download all the time but never had trouble. Had to drag the link to zuse to get it to go. Usually u click a link it takes you somewhere or auto downloads. Just weird to me. Anyway, getting it now then hopefully I can finish it right.
  7. Think I have it downloading now.....
  8. Install Vuse. Its secure. But when I click on the first link I just get a page of unreadable symbols etc?
  9. I don't get the first link? I'm halfway through the update but realized I don't have the flash dump? How do I get that? I'm in a hurry, I leave town on a roadtrip tomorrow and right now have a non working unit!
  10. You will enjoy it! And welcome. Lots of knowledge here.
  11. I would chip in to share the file. It should be free. I don't really have any issues but hey ,newer is better right?
  12. I would also suggest listening to a variety of music while making adjustments.
  13. What is full cockpit mode? Saw it in the settings today but don't really know.
  14. I feel your frustration. Glad you got it working. Just for your or other future people with problems clarification i will explain pinching the pin together tighter. When you pull the mute wire out of the harness you have the exposed pin that is kinda a u shape. I had to pinch mine together to make it closed more. Just dont make it too tight. then I put it back into the harness in its new location and it worked.
  15. Thanks. Haven't had time to look.
  16. You just talked me out of it! Guys who like Porsches don't have a clue obviously.
  17. Any way to change GPS info from mph to km/h? Thanks people.
  18. I doubt that. A person like you will always find things to complain about no matter what. And it will only get worse as you age. Then you will die lonely and miserable. Enjoy your clarion for the moment. I will continue to convince myself that my f90 is an awesome unit. In fact I just convinced my self it is better than your Clarion:)
  19. Have you tried to swap the wire your using for your ground with a new wire. Maybe the wire it self is bad. Thanks but my last post explains that I figured it out. It was the pin on the mute wire. It was in the right place and snugly in place. I had to pull it out and pinch it togather tighter and re-install. Then It was all good.
  20. I'm going to have to find this commercial....Did it show the unit dispensing $100 bill or something? I've used mine enough now to feel confident that i have tried almost everything i need. Bluetooth Perfect. Gps Perfect. Contacts auto entered, sweet! Sat radio Yup! Save favorite songs handy! iPhone connect great. iPhone for music, plays better than sat. Radio. Voice commands, still learning but the ones I need I got down. What am I missing....Nothing! Got home from a roadtrip last night. I was talking on the phone. Gps was telling me where to go. And sat radio would popup anytime a saved song
  21. All I can say is WOW! Americans sure love to sue. I love my f90 and have encountered no problems yet. I guess I'll have to read more to find them. No one forced you to buy it. Move on with your life. Go buy another brand and you'll go through the same thing I'm sure. Some people can't be pleased.
  22. Model number will help others to help you. If its a model with built in bluetooth then maybe you need to just pair your phone. If it doesn't have bluetooth built in you may need the adapter.
  23. Well had time to pull it apart again, and I don't like it when I can't figure things out! Tried seperating grounds a few different ways and still no go. Tugged in and out on mute wire and still nothing. Since Diannebrat said that's what is has to be I pulled the mute wire out completely, pinched the pin tighter togather and re-assembled. Voila! Video at Any speed. So I am posting this for any one else that may be frustrated and tried everything. Pinch the pin on the mute wire a little tighter togather then re-insert and make sure it doesn't come out. Thanks Dianebrat:)
  24. Well from reading for hours through multiple threads there is some different story's. Some people have no trouble and some go through what I am. A professional shop did it and then checked it over a second time. They do this for a living! I read here lots and pulled it appart check it even moved the grounds, checked the pin in #4 and still nothing. I don't want to waste alot of time on this so if I have time i will seperate the grounds and try that(worked for some people) or try the software work around. Or I might just say F it, don't really need it! Thanks for the input anyway.
  25. It's not the parking brake wire, it's the moved "mute wire" that's not done correctly. Go all the way back to post 1 in the thread. The parking brake wire IS correct, and it's bitching at you because the GPS or VSS says that you're moving, it's the bypass that is not done correctly. Yes we keep saying it over and over, but that's what the issue is. The moved mute wire appears to be correct. It is in the right loction, spot 4 between two black wires. Pulled on it and it is tight too. It is grounded with the parking brake wire to the main ground. I also tried grounding them both elsewh
