  1. I was typing an email on the little screen with my stylus when my coffee spilled all over my lap. It burned like hell and I reached down to grab the cup off the floor board and ran into the back of the car infront of me on the highway. Darn guy wouldn't get out of my way. To top it off, I don't remember if I hit send or not when I got out of the car. Probably lost my message, oh well. Just kidding, good work!
  2. the vr is in the contents folder Is that the "my flash disk\APL2\iGO\Content\?? Folder? It looks like navigation information. or the "my flash disk\APL2\iGo\ScanSoft\RealSpeakSolo\SPEECH\components? Which file? Thank you
  3. So the Data.zip file has not been modified then. This will not affect current mods done for my navigation part of the system? Can you say where the Main Menu icons are at? I would like to keep the ones that I have currently on my system. And the voice recognition menu, where is that picture located? I would like to put a different one in there as well. Thanks, the mod looks great.

    peace out.

Fixed my issue. I had to reload and update again, this time with the extra schemes

    peace out.

Thanks for the Mod. Looks great! I am having one issue, however. I did the step by step and everything worked great the first time, however I was going through the new options and choose a night theme for the map that started with a z or x. After that it popped up an error that said could not be found, has to close. I could no longer access the navigation. I tried rebooting but now it just loops and never loads completely, just gets to the loading screen. I have tried putting in the data, sys, and image files again but I have not been able to get it back up again. I did make a full
  6. There are a lot of threads about the mic and reception and things to try. you can make sure the wire is not wound up. Try running it around and not bundling it together (creates noise), try moving the mic to diferent locations A pilliar, Visor, instrument cluster, mirror, etc. Different vehicles have different sweet spots. The mic has to be pointed towards your face. I have found that to be a big one.
  7. What do you do if you have the pop when the amp turns off? Same thing?
  8. I have done the VR update for the ipod sooo many times. I have tried saying "play album xxxx", "play artist xxxx", "play song xxxx", "play playlist xxxxx" It either does nothing and ignores me or says, "playing all artist". Most annoying feature of the darn AVIC is this so called voice recognition. It will recognize my "call Chad" but nothing on the ipod. And once it does call, callers report that I sound like I am in a long tube and cannot hear me very well. I have tried moving the microphone, even holding it directly in front of my face but it doesn't seem to help. i hope t
  9. Mine switches to map mode when all calls come in as well. I think it is, for lack of a better word, supposed to be like that.
  10. had this issue too, don't know what caused it but would keep zooming out to the globe view when I was in 2D mode, switch to 3D and it would zoom in. I ended up turning off one of the zooming functions (think it was overview mode) and have not seen the problem since.
  11. Guess there is no fix for this?
  12. One silly last question, On the nav mode image, why is it telling you to turn left? Doesn't look like you can
  13. A lot of people have also had luck reinstalling the 2.0 software. Plenty of threads about that.
  14. It almost sounds like you have a connection problem and not an issue with the unit. Verify your power and ground, wiggle the wires and see if it still has an issue. With the unit on, try unplugging the antenna. The unit should not turn off. This will show if you have a bad ground connection.
  15. Random question, but do you know if it is possible to change preset radio stations from the Map/Nav screen? when I press the volume knob, it goes from 92.1 to 92.2 instead of going to the next preset? This is really annoying to me, as I am a channel surfer. Just curious if anyone has a fix for that?
  16. I just did the hardware bypass on my newly installed F90BT, however I am experiencing a small problem. When I am stopped, I can edit settings but when I move I cannot. They grey out and do not let me change them. Just to confirm, I moved the mute wire to pin 4 as shown. Then I connect the mute (yellow/black) to the parking brake (light green) and ground them to the frame, correct? Am I missing something? I used the quick clamp connects to connect the wires together (blue), perhaps there is a bad connection? But why can I edit the settings while stopped? I never touched the actual
