  1. Good evening all, I installed this on my AVIC-Z130BT, followed the instructions on post number 1 to the "T" and it worked like a champ. Thanks to all who put there hard earned sweat and tears into this, your hard work is GREATLY appreciated!
  2. The Parrot connectors make installing the F500BT and amp SOOO much easier. I hacked the amp cable up a bit, I didn't want 60ft(I exaggerate )of cabling sitting in my dash. I bought my parrot kit from this website: http://store.cellularsurge.com/pcqcgm-2.html Was pretty cheap and arrived in a decent amount of time. Great service, I recommend them. If you need a different connector for a different vehicle, go to this website to look up what connector you need: http://www.quickconnectproducts.com/Find/find.php then just put in the P/N that comes up into the website above and do y
  3. Sorry, I am having problems with my set-up atm. When I first installed everything about two months ago, it was working flawless with my DEH-P770MP. Then it began to short out, the amp would turn on and sound would come out from the amp intermitently, after about a week of that, nothing. The F500BT comes on but no sound out of the amp from the F500BT or my stereo. I thought initially it was a problem with the amp so I had it repaired under warranty. Well I got the amp back three days ago and plugged it in. And to my horror, same problem. I do hear a quick clip coming from the right rear sp

    peace out.

I installed this mod on my F500BT, using just the data.zip, sys.txt, and loading the new samantha TTS files in the Testmode folders via the folders loaded on my SD card. Everything works awesome. Except for some reason when I input a destination, and hit route, the unit restarts. Once it reloads, it goes right back to the navigation map. I then re-enter my destination and everything works as normal! Weird i know. What are your thoughts? I did change one thing on the sys.txt file, the first line on your sys.txt reads [device] type="PIONEER746UC" and I changed mine to read [device] type="PION
  5. First timer and I have a question. I upgraded my maps with no problem(Avic-F500BT). I loaded the hacked version of ezrider, then loaded the 2008.01 US maps from this forum (which had the fbl, 3dl, 3dc and poi files sprinkled throughout) and seperated out the .3dl, 3dc into the "BUILDING" folder, the maps in the "MAP" folder and the poi's in the "POI" folder. Everything loaded fine but when you search for POI's nothing comes up. Did i do something wrong? Do i have to edit another file? Your help is greatly appreciated. Erik Edit: when i reload my backup poi's they work as intended.
