thanks tex for your fast answer !! i confirm that's exactly what you say with the iphone4 , no problem on that point. now you ask me if i cheked the gps antenna ? physically no...because appradio setup says gps signal is "ok" that's why i thought it will complete ipod gps app....( it's like a kind of gps port com not configured or something like that....or maybe the app itself can't make the link with appradio gps antenna ) do you mean something else ?

hi to everyone, i've decided to buy a second hand ipod touch 4g... all works like the iphone 4...of course...no datas... i've bought it, just in the idea to not disconnect and connect everytime de connecting plug wire.... i was expecting to use gps stand alone app, live navefree wich have all France map in 1gigabite memory on ipod... i was expecting that my appradio gps antena will take control and nothing ????!!!! ( even on "airplane" mode...) when i look in general setup, gps appradio device is ok with signal....so what to think about this appradio antenna ? not worth anything ? for info

more and more, seeing the succes of appradio....i think about this solution in long term...transfert sound by bluetooth and use induction wireless charger...and xcarlink steering wheel... do you think double din radio's will continue to stand on market when you can have 90% of the fonctions in a thin large screen tablet...??

stargate, you're completly right, but have to "rethink" of purchasing something else etc....why not after all...but if there is something just to "plug and play" wirelessly...that costs less than 80 euros...( have to sell sph-da01...iphone 4, uninstall, réinstall, etc etc...) but i admit, your idea is good !

most of people asking for iphone 5, etc etc, does anyone think about a kind of wireless connection ( even with an option hiden behind the dashboard ) to connect and fully use iphone 5 ( even iphone 4 ) most of time we hear about this new process called "WIDI" wireless display...or even with dlna protocol or something like that...but in the windows 6 of appradio...??? has anybody thought about this idea ? because keeping the iphone plug/unplugged, etc etc.... in long time use...the connector wire will be "out"...and with iphone 5....for sure apple, didn't let that point left like that.

excuse me but...you are completly "geeks"... you buy an appradio wich is compatible with iphone 4....and you insist that the iphone 5 have to "work" with appradio wich is completly different connector ?!!! don't you think there is enough bugs with standard configuration ?? you want more bugs ? anyway it's intersting to see that it could be only about firmware...but i don't believe ( hope i'm wrong ), and maybe with iphone 5S

is it me or when you exit waze gps, most of the time, screen remain black ? and it need at least 5 seconds, to take control of touchscreen appradio icons to be selected...? ( like searching in iphone the right fonction...)

but one point !!!!! the mini din output of a/v iphone appradio have normally 8 pin ???? and the output of the a/v apple dock, only 7 ??? is that right, what do you think ???? personnally, i think this idea is good, but i don't know if it works ?????????????????????? ... due to 7 / 8 pin differences...

what's the use of mini din 8 pin ? what's the use of usb ? can we imagine using FINALLY an universal a/v iphone dock ?

youtube don't work as it work before... you know you can display youtube videos if you launch it from the iphone if in os 5.1....in os 6, not ... whereas now, you can launch "video" carmedia player when it works...( most of time blank screen ) new fonction with facebook or twiter added, you can show your "gps" position in google maps, not important but funny.

ijc...you know....pioneer is now on sph-da09 model....seeing how it goes...i think they totally don't care about it...( hope i'm wrong...)
