I did the install all went well, How ever now when i add an address or destination i get an error message and then it reboots?

I got a mac and it was a little difficult for me to do the software by pass, the hard wire bypass worked lik a charm and it was really simple to do... YOU CAN DO IT! ALL NIGHT LONG!

tell me about it , i did end up buying it though...works awesome! there are more features in a navi than a regular pioneer radio, the interface is great. it is worth it...Frys electronics has them for 80.00

this is awesome i love it, Im a newb to the whole Avic scene- but i have already change an updated some of my own backgrounds and completed the bypass Hardwire change. Is there a guide on how to change it to this , I tried searching but could not find anything...I want to do this but not sure how to start let alone complete the whole process.

Not just any old ipod connecter will work, it needs to be the pioneer version with audio and video jacks.

you can get that at your local Fry's electronics or Best Buys, go to the car audio section and ask for a car kit it cost 20.00, they will look up you make and model car and fit it with what you need. You will also need a wiring kit (another 20.00)

Im having the same problem! time does not stay changed when i set it to not auto correct.

Hi im a new avic 700bt owner, Im not exactly sure what i have donewrong but here is what i did please help Not sure if im missing a step 1.downloaded update 2.0 2.decompressed data folder 3. change the pioneer ini file to 128.00 ( speed detection) 4. recompressed it. 5. placed sd in radio turn key and nothing i went straigh to the intiall window. I dont get it ? please help
