  1. hi i was noticing the problem you had i was wondering if you where able to resolve the issue? and migh be able to assist me thanks!

  2. Thanks midwestls! I did the same and your post was the one that finally lead me in the right direction! Works great on my F90BT!
  3. Looks like $200 just to have Pioneer look at it. This sucks!
  4. I was surprised to hear from anyone about the issue. I'm sure w4rh4wk will be on within the next couple days. Until then, I have a bit more background info. Recently I have had a few other electrical problems that seem to be caused by rodents stealing material from the insulation near the firewall. A few dash lights have come on recently and I discovered that my avic was not getting ground unless the antenna [adapter] was plugged in. Upon further investigation, I realized that my factory wiring harness (which has never been cut) was not getting ground at all. This problem may somehow
  5. So apparently the uBoot upgrade is not something that's been done??? Searched everywhere and I'm coming up empty. Can't find anyone who's upgraded uBoot. Also, can't find the necessary files to do so (uboot.bin and uboot.cks). I did find the service manual for the F900BT though: http://www.scribd.com/doc/16873730/Pioneer-Avic-f900bt The document shows a simple procedure for updating uBoot as found on page 86 (sec 6.3) of the document: UBOOT Upgrade 1. Copy the Uboot files named as “uboot.bin†and “uboot.cks†to the SD/MMC card 2. Inset SD/MMC card to the Main Unit at f
  6. I am having the EXACT same problems. I upgraded to 3.0, it worked for about a month, and then crashed. My F90BT lights up the knob and menu/map buttons for about 15 seconds, then it all goes black. No splash screen, no nothing. The uBoot test also returns "bad". Please help!
  7. bump! I need these files as well (I think)! Tried about every other solution I can think of and when I run the uBoot test, I get "bad/ press any key to continue". Please help!
  8. UPDATE: I've been working on this problem for hours now, and cannot seem to upgrade WindowsCE. I have tried various versions of the winceimg.bin and winceimg.cks files, including ones downloaded from the Pionner website for Firmware version 2.0060. I finally decided to poke around a little bit in the Service Mode of my F90BT. After performing each of the tests, I found where my problem might be. After selecting the UBoot Test, results immediately displayed "bad/ press any key to continue". Now on to some more research and hopefully a solution to a newly discovered problem.
  9. No problem... Check Rar Labs for WinRAR Archiver. Scroll down for the non-beta version. Once you download a series of rar files, simply extract the first one. With WinRAR Archiver (as long as you selected "integrate into windows shell" during installation) you can simply right click the first rar file and choose "Extract Here". WinRAR will use all the rar files and combine them during extraction.
  10. I can't get into testmode either. I just downloaded the FX3.1 Entire Firmware torrent, put it on a freshly FAT32 formatted 2GB SD card, and can't even get through the WinCE upgrade. The progress at the bottom stops at 100% Reading... By the way, I'm using the full procedure found in This Post
  11. Not so indefinitely I see... Anyone got a good link?
  12. I'm having the exact same problem with my F90BT. The problem was sudden and without warning. A few weeks before that, I had upgraded to 3.0 and everything was working fine. I double checked the wiring and all my fuzes. Somebody help!!!
  13. Ask and you shall receive, my friend! You will notice that only the MAP and POI folders are empty. All other folders are exactly OEM. These files were copied from a stock f90bt with update 2.0 from the Pioneer website. Enjoy: http://rapidshare.com/files/241018070/APL2.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/241018212/APL2.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/241018285/APL2.part3.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/241015498/APL2.part4.rar You will need WinRAR to extract the files. If you don't have it already, download it here: http://rarlabs.com/rar/wrar380.exe Hope that he
