I have the same setup, works fine (just like it used too) of course apple didn't release the whole update , the SMS, the blue tooth tethering and a couple other things they said were in the 3.0 were not there yet. Oh well, that gives pioneer more time for our update

i got a 3g iphone and supposedly you add the whole number like 15551231234 no spaces or dashes or any other symbol.. set your region on the iphone to austrailia (so it shows the whole number like I typed it above) then upload your phone book. that supposedly works, it kinda does.. then after that you can set your phone region back to US.

i think you need the full # like 1-555-123-1234 but no dashes or spaces but not sure it does the same on my iphone, I just havent got around to changing all the #'s

hello all, Just wondering if anyone has made a mod to change the shape of the preset buttons on FM/AM I searched a bit and only found issues with the HD tuner presets lol I have a 900bt and it lists the FM presets in small lines and my huge fingers always push the wrong one. Im looking for more of a 'finger sized' button shape, the same 6 presets just set up like [][][] [][][] this would work. thanx for your help

this may or may not help you... this is what I do, I run Pandora or AOL radio thru my iphone(internet radio) into the usb/iphone pugged into the back of my 900bt. It doesn't display the song names n stuff(it gets stuck on showing what the ipod part is playing) but it sounds great and once it syncs up it is pretty smooth.I also have like 7 gigs of music on my iphone/pod. I can go for days and not hear the same music and most of it is free. anyways, thats is about the best I have found without doing any mods to my stereo. good luck oh and get an ipod like everyone else in the world l

try messing with the a/v 1 settings? is it plugged in a/v1? I dunno.. i thought about it for a minute but im sleepy. good luck

I have a 900BT (just about the same as a 90BT)with a 450w amp and a 12" sub. Only the sub is amped and it sounds great. real clean sound and plenty of bass. But if you have the box for 2 10's just do that and have plenty of boom. good luck

check your battery, it may be dropping voltage when you are driving. usually them auto parts places will check it free. If that's not it, and you checked all your stereo connections.. maybe alternator? they can test them too.

sucks to hear you are having so many issues. I got the 900bt and havent really had any problems. the satellite signal got lost 1 day, and fixed itself next startup, and bluetooth calls are sometimes crappy sounding, but thats my AT&T lol. but your "On to issue #2..........Thumbdrives and hard drives are like Kryptonite. I plug in a thumbdrive and it works until I shutoff the car and restart it. When I shut the car off and turn it back on it does not recognize the drives, I have to unplug and replug it in for it to be recognized. I have tried all my thumbdrives which are Sony, Kingston,

My 05 toyota tacoma has the worst reception. The stock radio signal was in and out and now with a 900bt it still is poor. I think its just toyota and their 'amplified' antenna. I don't really listen to the AM/FM much so its not a big problem. Although, I was just working in a 2008 avalon and it had a strong signal. Maybe they changed the antenna? I'll take a look in the next day or two, I got to crack open my dash again.

almost the same issues as the OP, my VR works good , but I turned it off (don't really use it, and it takes forever to update everytime)and I did the switching to austrailia format for the contacts and they only display the number ,still no name when I recieve a call, and no text messages show,no biggie. I am convinced this unit just doesn't want to play right with the iphone(1st gen). It doesn't really say it officially supports it anyway. Time to get a new ipod , like a nano or a little cheap one to be stuck in the truck forever. I only have the hardware bypass and the unit really does work
