I am installing the Z1 in a 2006 Jetta TDI and I have read that the vss wire is a white with purple stripe behind the instrument cluster. I can not find a white with purple, but there are two purple with white stripes wires, so now I am all confused. If someone can point me in the right direction..... TIA!!

14.5 hours non stop. Left the truck and Z1 on while filling up and what not, never had a problem.

I was pretty pissed when I saw how they ran the cable. I mean I only paid $46k for the damn truck, go ahead and drill and cut.... the thing is I asked them to install it in the glove box anyway.

Here is my Z1. I like how it looks almost stock. Notice the switch where the ipod is. The install guy put that in without my permision, and did not wire up the ebreak. I don't know if I should be pissed or not.

Ok, so we all agree that just about any camera can be used. Do you know what it's like to have a brand new Z1 sitting on your dining table and not be able to use it? I got my unit in Friday and will be getting it installed Tuesday, along with the ipod adaptor. But every time I walk by the table my new Z1 mocks me! I truly can't wait to get this installed and start playing with it. I also want to say hey to eveyone here, this is a great site and I have already learned a lot in the few days of lurking. Keep up the great work.
