  1. Could you please re-upload the 2.3 versions? It seems the links are broken. I have 10/10, 11/5, and 12/17 versions, but I can't seem to find the v2.3 on my computer. Thanks. Tim P.S. I love your mod. I've been using it for over a year. It looks very professional- the way Pioneer should have made theirs. Thanks for all of the hard work putting it together.
  2. Quick question and I hope not a dull one. How do you add via points and a multiple stop route? In the past, I would search for the POI and then add them on the map screen that appears (add via). Now, I just get a text address, no map, and no option to add as a via when I search. The route option brings up an "add via" option onto the map, but it seems to add a point from the map, not an address of my choosing. The multiroute functionality is awesome. A bit slow for long trips, but really cool to see. Thanks again for a great mod. Tim
  3. Easy enough. Thanks. I was starting to miss the automatic overview mode. Tim
  4. Quick question, how do I swap between 2D and 3D map modes? The icon disappeared and I can't seem to find the settings in the menus or anywhere on the screen. Thanks. Tim
  5. I didn't change anything, but after the update, my presets magically started working. This is with a PAC SWI-PS. I'm very happy about that improvement! Tim
  6. The 3.0 update seems to take a while after I start driving for the accuracy to come up. When the car has been in the garage or a week or so, it may take 5 minutes before the GPS is even close. Once the car has been running, or if I've been doing quite a few trips, I find the positioning is spot on. Tim
  7. I've gotta say, I love my F90BT. 3.0 has straightened out the annoying bugs (bluetooth connectivity). The information displayed isn't perfect (I like the stock iGo 8.3 better), but it's easy to hack and change. I looked at all of the other in-dash monitors. Only Kenwood seemed to come close and they cost dramatically more. I think that when you google the other in-dash navigation systems, you will find that they're just as buggy or even worse than the 2.0 F series. Most are also much less capable. Tim
  8. Currently running Mavericster's updated mods. Tim
  9. I've been using GTIMatt's mods, but the 3.02 update wiped them out. I tried the ulmer's port of Mavericster's mod and I like it. It's pretty close to GTIMatt's. Some of it's better, but I did like some of GTIMatt's better (notably the linear compass). The speed limit display on this one is pretty cool (I love how it can show how fast you're going right next to the speed limit). The home button no longer goes home, but instead goes to address entry. 8.3 has two displays in the lower left for distance and time, but Maverickster's has three (only the top two are changeable- the third is spe
  10. I got my password and updated with no problems. The site seems to be good to go. Tim
  11. Card 1 won't do anything after the headunit is updated. Try removing and then inserting the card 2 after the unit has booted up. Tim
  12. Only the F90BT had the 4 volt preout. Tim
  13. I've had no trouble downloading files from here and using them on my F90. I haven't tried creating my own though. Tim
  14. I've had good luck recently. It's probably worked 90% of the time. Rebooting the E51 seems to fix many of the connection and dialing issues. Tim
  15. Most of the channels are now the same. They really screwed up a lot of Sirius channels during the merger... Tim
  16. My F90BT also has a digital output. I'm not sure if anybody has tested them yet though. Pioneer doesn't seem to have anything compatible with the digital out. Tim
  17. I would be very happy with iGo 8.3 I love the added features in 8.3 and run it on my portable GPS. Tim
  18. I had the same problem with my left channel. It was intermittently low and distorted and normal. When I twisted my RCA connection, the sound came back and stayed back. I tried a lot of other things and nothing else worked. It seems that Pioneer has used low quality connectors... Tim
  19. Looks like the bluetooth module is new, but not much else. It's interesting that the digital ports are mentioned in the spec list. It makes me wonder whether they're already active. Tim
  20. The HKS CAMP2 may also be an option. It handles the OBD2 scanning then outputs a front end to the AVIC. Tim
  21. This is quite an interesting combo- the Nokia E51 with a F90BT. It's worked perfectly at times, and other times been completely unusable. Initial phonebook transfer was automatic and included all contacts from my SIM card and the phone memory itself. Names were correct, but there was no difference between home and mobile numbers. Second time, I transferred the contacts individually using business cards. The names came Last First, but showed home and mobile. Each card had to be sent manually. Third time, I downloaded and used the Nokia N810 contacts download software (in the pro
  22. Mine had the same thing happen when I drove down from Chicago to Houston (through Evansville, Memphis, Little Rock, then Shreveport). Tim
  23. One thing that worked for me is turning off the bluetooth on my phone. This usually resets the connection and the F90BT will start playing music again. Pioneer really needs to sort this out in 3.0... It's my #1 complaint with the unit and makes bluetooth unusable. Tim
  24. My Nokia E51 is the same way. Sometimes it works perfectly, but most of the time it hangs, doesn't answer, and just barely works in general. Pioneer badly needs a bluetooth update that works... Tim
