Hello.I have a 900BT.Can anyone please tell me how to remove push pin markers.Also is there a menu where I can designate colours for the pins.At present I have no control.Many Thanks guys.

I have had partial success.I updated the Wince files and these have made a great difference in regard of touch screen response.I also managed to somehow partially upgrade to firmware 3!I seem to have a mix of both 2 and 3!!All in all I am quite happy now especially as the unziptosd mod is still active.Even if the full 3 comes available I don't think I'll bother.I definitely won't if I am expected to pay for it.I think Pioneer should at least put right all the bugs that have been in the system from it's introduction. All in all it's better than it was but not as good as it could be...

That would be interesting. The hardware is definitely different, from the software side i don't know any difference. Yep. I put on my EU unit: the new WinCE, the hacked Ezrider+License+2008 maps, the V3 APL folder. Runs smoothly and fast. I'm happy. How about putting up your flash drive for the rest of us EU users...please

Make sure you have the correct Ezrider file and it replaces the original one.Mine did the same until I installed the right Ezrider.

Anyone? I have an EU unit as well. Me too! 1) 8.3 maps 2) yes 3) it has US maps, you can add it to your EU unit 4) you need the 8.3 EU maps plus a license file 5) the torrent is a 3.0 version, that can be updated to a 3.1

Miserable failure....Got to stating up...please wait.....and wait ......then rebooted.Managed to put original APL folder and EZ rider back in place so at least I've got it going again.Must admit my heart stopped when i reached the please wait ..... Think I will go the whole hog and try to install the full v3 flash drive.Don't think my nerves could stand any more tonight though.Thanks again for all your help and advice.

Hi all, I am new to the hacking side of things but am desperate to learn.I have got my unit into Testmode and now i want to replace the APL folder on the flash drive with the one i have DL from here.I am uncertain how to do the following. How do i rename the original APL folder to APL.bak?Is there a "virtual keyboard to allow me to do this? Also how do I copy the new APL folder from the SD to the flash drive?Is it just a case of copy and paste?Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist this newbie.....I feel so near yet so far!

I don't give a shit about the Maps. I just want the system firmware, and that should be FREE. Especially for a Head Unit that retailed for $850. I totally agree.

To be honest.I didn't take much notice until after I had installed the apps(It was Boris's latest..come and get it before it goes!!)Certainly after the apps install it shows MPH.

If you put the cursor to where you want your home address,then bring up the map confirmation screen,you have the option to save as....Maybe this would be more accurate?

Mine is fine,shows MPH.Have reinstalled the Apps and no problems as yet.

If you look at the details of the sd card for the 500 it says 3.0 firmware! So what does this say about Pioneer support when they claim no knowledge of it !!!
