Is the Pioneer cam worth the cash? Or am I better off saving a few bucks and getting a cheaper cam? I already have it ordered from Crutchfield, but I can always return it.

I spoke to a rep earlier and he told me to call back tomorrow because the delay is usually about a day. I wouldnt really sweat it. A couple days for that discount and factory warranty seems worth it to me.

So someone tries to be innovative and you guys give him shit for it why? Some phones come with GPS and have traffic functions, he was probably hoping to use that instead of paying for a separate one. As for the iPod, it is essentially just a HD. But, that def would require a lot of work for little reward. You'd need to reprogram the software to search the ipod and not the DVD for the info. Which would probably do more harm than good in the long run. Good ideas though. But you're probably better off going with a 6 disc changer as a workaround for the used DVD slot. Or just using y

They probably sold out of the new shipment already, and thats why it says uncertain. I'll try to call later, if someone else calls and asks, post it up.

Do you think one of those CD skinz will work to protect the DVD? Or will it get caught in the cd loader?

Well who knows, maybe they'll come out with a software update. Thats a pretty easy fix I'd think. But either way, sound like a great unit. And at the least, u dont have to let each page load so u can get to the right place quickly.

If its just a switch, why would accessing it void the warranty? I'd call and ask if moving that specific sticker voids the warranty... thats definitely ridiculous. lol

Yeah, I did that at my local sound advice. I'm kickin my own ass now tho because they got delayed til the 9th, which means i wont see it til the 12th. Had i just ordered it instead of printing out the form I would have mine already.

I'll double check, but when I placed my order with Sound Advice last week they told me March 1st-2nd.

Also the D3 has improved high speed ipod support, along with ipod video. Which is the biggest sell point for me.

Well the background is the nav menu which you can color yourself, I'd guess thats why theres no custom background image functions. Twin map would have been cool. But, really? No DVD control or rear A/V source? That sounds off to me. How can there be no DVD control???

What a bunch of assholes. Thats just poor customer service, period. It's a stretch, but maybe you can call another location and have them ship it to you? I believe Circuit City price matches as well, worth looking in to.

Im aware, just thought that it would be a good idea to get all the accessories and info in to one thread. So folks dont go and buy the previous versions, like I almost did yesterday. And no need to me a smartass, I've been on Pioneer's website. And the Bluetooth accessory listed is actually the old model, apparently there is a newer version being released. Hence this thread. Unless you have some useful information to post, please resist the urge to be a douche. Thank you.

The only one I know of thats out is the new iPod cable, CD-I200. However, I believe there will also be a new Bluetooth Receiver? Is that true? When will it be out? Is the Sirius Tuner (SIR-PNR2) the best to get or is there another one coming out soon? Any other new accessories or upgrades? Post em up!

Just pre-ordered mine at Sound Advice, they price matched the 849 deal from Crutchfield. Very cool. And they said its supposed to be in March 1st or 2nd, according to their computer. Looks like we'll be seeing them soon!!
