  1. Using an F500, you need a European model's cradle, in order to use TMC. Additionally you need to make some changes in sys.txt. But you will lose BT as far as I remeber.
  2. Hope they are the right ones: http://netload.in/dateiwTKXqwDeRe/411_5 ... t1.rar.htm http://netload.in/dateiZGIDFcQHu6/411_5 ... t2.rar.htm Enjoy!
  3. If it could be unlocked somehow, why would anybody want your data?
  4. It doesn't matter, where the sensor is built in. Basically you can say, that you get, what you pay for. Needless to say, that there might be quite good cmos back up cams, but at a higher price. But saying cmos is crap is wrong in general.
  5. That's ok with the version number. That's just an HTML file, which tells the system, what version it's running. You can edit it manually. Don't remember the exact file name right now.
  6. LMAO Look here! The engineer has spoken. So, you mean a Canon HF 11 is crap (must be crap, because it uses a cmos sensor)?
  7. Good to hear, but remeber: TMC does not work, if you set it to UC!
  8. Thanks, but the update is not the problem. It won't work, when device is set to EW, no matter what....at least for now. It's like in the thread you posted. Either TMC or BT.
  9. I solved my problem, but I don't know, if it's worth it. I changed my SYS.txt to UC again. Before, I changed to EW in order to use the US unit with a european cradle, to be able to receive TMC data. Gonna play around with it a little bit now.
  10. Yes, I tried both steps. I have a US unit and tried to update to 330 but during the update, the device stops the update and generates an error message.
  11. Lucky you. Doesn't work for me. Any other ideas?
  12. You're right. As I don't use BT, I didn't encounter a problem. But as you say, I can not get it to connect to my phone, like I could before (paired em once).
  13. Well, for now I can say, that from the moment I turn on the unit, it takes exactly 35 seconds (no SD card or USB attached) to enter the settings menu. I don't remember 2.0xx beeing that fast. Device seems to be more responsive than before the update- Have to try media playback yet. For now, I can tell you, that it was worth a try.
  14. Mayebe I'm just impatient but, how long does the wince update take? My unit says "Reading Progress:100%" now for 5 minutes. Is that normal? EDIT: Solved it. Make sure, the only files on SD-Card are the update files. After retrying several times, it finally worked.
  15. Does this technically replace the official 3.0 update(WinCE and APL)?
