  1. Read your instructions again .. in Chapter 4 Page 26 .. it gives you seperate directions for updating the MSN.
  2. I second that! Guess we're not gettting any offers for the 2nd SD card from CNSD-200FM
  3. 2 SD Cards are included .. 1st SD Card : Install this if you NEVER purchased/installed the CNSD-100FM 2nd SD Card : Install this if you HAVE purchased and installed the CDSD-100FM This is right from the Instruction Manual. Anyone want to share a copy of the 2nd SD card ? LOL
  4. I had actually called Parrot and asked about that mic, they told me the unit had to be built to use the dual mic specifically, so I forgot about it. Is it a standard plug or two or what? Are both mic's working or just one? Have you tried any other mic's to compare it to? Thanks Compared to the standard mic that was shipped with the F700 .. I installed this mic in the same place which was right at the top of my A-Arm in a Tahoe .. with the factory mic, I would have to have my face right up to the mic, ALL windows closed and even then people had a hard time hearing me. With the dual-mic
  5. PR2626 I just bought one off ebay from the UK. Will update when it arrives. Dude .. I bought the "PR2627 Parrot Twin Mic Microphone MKi9100, MKi9200" from a english firm on eBay also .. received it roughly 10 days later .. and I tell you what .. its the greatest thing. Far better than the stock mic (I have an AVIC-F700BT) .. here is the link to the UK company that is selling these on eBay .. http://stores.shop.ebay.com/DriveSaferDirect_Parrot_W0QQ_fsubZ1567706018QQ_sidZ777345888QQ_trksidZp4634Q2ec0Q2em322
  6. You have the OFFICIAL 3.0 Release or are you talking about a hacked version of 3.0 ?? As of right now, 3.0 OFFICIAL has not even been shipped and received by anyone (here in the US that is).
  7. Sorry .. I miss understood. I'm in Cleveland Ohio .. my timezone shows as Eastern/New York.
  8. Not to appear dumb here .. did any of you setup your HOME location on the GPS side of your HU's ? Not just the TimeZone .. Make: F700BT Ordered Date: 07/03/09 Status: Awaiting Shipment
  9. Since it is now obvious that you have the hacked version of 3.0 installed on your HU .. sending it in to Pioneer for repairs is now out of the question .. they will see what you have done and probably void out any warranty.
  10. Did you installed the hacked version of 3.0 on your F700BT ?? Now you know why I stated in the other post of yours why I'm waiting for the OFFICIAL release version. The hacked version was NOT for the F-Series as I have seen in many postings .. its for a Z-Series. There are even postings of people hacking the F910 3.0 release to work on other units .. although they state that everything seems to be working properly, and the enhancements they are seeing in regards to button press timings etc .. no one has mentioned anything in regards to really digging into the FULL functionality of EVERY op
  11. Ellasman .. That pre-release special from Pioneer has been up there since mid June .. thats when I ordered mine. As for the writeback .. no, it will not write anything on there during the installation, however, if you leave the SD in there once its completed, the AVIC will use the SD card for saving information that YOU create ,, in other words, things like custom POI's. If you are worried that it would .. as Christy123 stated, there is a slider on the side of the SD card that you card lock the ability to write to it. Overall .. there should be no problem in regards to installing t
  12. Hanibal .. I would have to say you're having an hardware issue there. I'm still running the 2.0 release on my F700BT .. I'm waiting for the official release of 3.0 to be mailed out .. I'm not that daring to attempt putting these hacked versions of 3.0 on my system.
  13. Same here .. wanting it now, but seeing half the postings in here, looks as if the updates are more to the maps and little to Windows CE kinda makes me think this is not going to be good. One of the biggest updates I would have liked seen in the upcoming release .. the HD Module addition .. when you save presets, nothing shows as to the frequencies to each preset as it shows with selecting just FM and seeing the presets .. shows P1 - 98.5 MHz and so on .. the HD side shows nada .. just P1 and blank. So .. who do we need to bug to get that updated ? Ohh .. forgot to answer you quest
  14. I'm using a Sandisk Ultra II 8GB SDHC that currently has 6GB of MP3's on it .. having no issues what so ever .. this is on a AVIC-F700BT.
