  1. I would be willing to make a donation and am sure others would, if you could show some sort of progress of a working port on the Avic!
  2. The reason why I don't think its related to my mods is because when you are in testmode, at the windows CE level, the unit will still sync time with the GPS satellites. Can you try hitting the reset and eject buttons on the AVIC itself for 5 seconds and see if the clears it up?" Diaftia, I tried resetting the unit using the eject and reset button it didn't fix the time problem. I did notice that when i have the map screen up it DOES have the correct time, but when I'm on an audio screen(FM, AM, IPOD,ETC.) it's an hour ahead of the actual time! How is this possible? Anyway, should I restor

Do this outside with no roof over the car to make sure its getting good reception. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will try t
  5. I have never heard this before. Isn't your clock automatically setting with the GPS locating/locking? I am really not sure this is related to my mods but just in case did you delete your save files? I did delete the save files. I notice that when i go into the GPS time settings menu it has" EDT North America/New York" by default for some reason.
  6. Help! I can't get my clock setting to save. I set it up for Central time and after I restart the car it goes to Eastern time for New York! Any suggestions?
  7. Keep up the good work FourG! You obviously have the know how and where theres a will theres a way.
  8. Awesome, thanks for the reply FourG. I think that this would be one of the best mods yet, if we could get wifi to launch from the AVIC UI. Looking forward to seeing the results of your testing!
  9. FourG, would it be possible to incorporate your mod and Miotoo's wifi mod (viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26523)to where you could have a button and it launch Mio's Opera browser mod?
  10. Miotoo, do you know if it is possible to put the testmode files on the actual wifi sd card(i'm not familiar with the limitations of this type of sd card)? That way we would only have to use one sd card to get into testmode and obtain an internet connection. Thanks for your help and advice!
  11. I agree, it would be awesome to be able to access an internet browser from the AVIC UI without having to boot into testmode!
  12. Miotoo, please post pics of this running on your unit!
