When you use format option to update Wince, internal flash gets formated and you lose everything, not just APL and APL2. Backup the whole flash disk and then copy it back (assuming you are at 3.0 already).

I had to use the choice with Format option. MAKE SURE THAT YOU BACKUP EVERYTHING FROM THE INTERNAL MEMORY CARD.

When I followed these steps, I lost TTS. I was able to get it back. Instead of deleting APL2 folder in step 3, I kept it. I deleted VBT folder from the APL2 folder on the original X910 files. I deleted ScanSoft folder from the APL2/iGo on the original X910 files. I copied an APL2 folder onto the APL2 folder on the F500BT, replacing all the files with the same name. ALWAYS make a backup before you proceed with MOD!!! 1) Upgrade to the latest version 2.00600 for US users or 2.00700 for Europe users. I had the same issue. You need to leave original license file from X image in the license directory and add the world license. The message will go away.

On the Map screen in the lower left corner above the street name sign there are 3 info boxes: Arrival Time, Distance to Via Point, and Elevation. In original Pioneer functionality the first 2 info boxes could be changed in the Settings, Navi Sattings, Map Visual Settings, Displayed Info. They are fixed now, and cannot be changed? If functionality cannot be changed easily, can you change the (Distance to Via point) to (Distance to destination)? Thank you.

The 2 fields on the lower left corner (distance to Via point, and time to destination) appear to be fixed. When I change in the menu to different choices, nothing happends. How do I change these fields. With the new version, the demo mode stop button is now in the middle of the screen. Is this by design?

With the new hacked EZRIDED all the maps work, not just the base map. Follow instruction in this thread and you can update to 3.

The signs are so big that is just about impossible. Lower left is the iPod logo when connected... along the bottom is the street info. Left side is the menu and navigation info. Nothing left. If there is no room to move the speed signs, can we scale down the traffic signs? Or can we limit how far the traffic signs go to the left, so they would not interfere with the speed signs?

Yeek, I also tried it and recieved the same bug results on the F500BT. When you start and boot with SD card, everything is OK. It even gave me same symptom when I took out the SD card. We are probably missing an updated file in the APL directory.

Installed the mods on the F500. Is it possible to change the speed and speed limit signs to a different location, so they would not interfere with the highway signs? Thank you.

TTS announces street names. Without TTS, GPS only tells you to turn right or left without the street names.

I followed the info and updated (including the new EZRIDER). I have one issue: TTS stopped working. Samantha does not play. Jason without TTS works. Please verify if you have the same issue.
