Hey There. So far i've been trying several mods posted on this site. First of all Thanks to all the people who make them. All of them are great and it's really dificult to choose one over the others. But all the ones i've tried have the same problem for me. The default tilt and zoom settings. Too much sky ( the map is very flat) and a very low zoom (the view is too far away) makes driving though town, especially without a route plugged, almost imposible. For those of you who want to update the firmawere to 3.01 form Tomola's 3.0003 just download the latest official 910bt firmware form the Pioneer EU site and install it folowing the instructions given by Pioneer. With this update you get: APL: From 3.0003 to 3.001 Map: Form 02.000200 to 02.000400 WinCE: No change still 6.2.1.9 You also have to resintall the hacked EzRider.exe and the Global Licence if you are using hacked TA or NAteq maps.

Yes, That's the one i use. Haven't found it yet. If someone has, please shere the information. Yes. you have to use the hacked Ezrider ( the new one for 3.0 firmaware) to make them work. I also added (added, i didn't erase any of the other) the Global licence to it just i case, and all works well.

I'm just in the process of testing my new 900bt. Used to use a portable Garmin Nuvi that worked really well. The first thing i find is that the direction voice commands seem to be very confusing when not totally wrong. Here is Europe we don't have almost straight streets in our cities like in the US, that's the first thing you need to know. When i'm driving down a street and there's a curve (right/left) i usually get a TURN SLIGHTLY order form the voice command. On the other hand, when i have to turn onto another street and the angle between the 2 is more than 90º I get a M

Great. This was really bothering me. You're the MAN. Don't really know what you mean. I have made tests with smartzoom on and off. Changing the SYS.txt values to 9500 tilt and 750 zoom don't seem to have any effect. The view i get whet i turn on the unit is mostly the same i get with your 8800 and 1500 values. I've tried with tilt 10000 and zoom 500 and the view i get is very similar to the one i get if I erase the values completetly. Can't seem to find the values in between. Since my technical skills on this matter are close to cero, mabye there's someone here that knows if this would work. I find there's a lack of decoding video capabilities built in my 900bt. I supose most of the other f series as well. Looking for codecs for WinCE i found this: http://www.coreplayer.com/ Which has all the decoding capabilities I need. It's built for WindowsCE but I don`t know if it will work on the 900bt since I don't know what processor it uses. What do you guys think.

IDT: First of all, thaks for dedicating so much time and efford to this mod. Overall it is a great aplication and I'm enyoing playing with it. However, and please don't take this as a complaint there are some things that don't work for me. 1) I seem to have the same problem as many people with the seedcam reboots. Here in Madrid (Spain) there are so many that the sistem is rebooting most of of the time. I've turn off the voice warnings and the problem seems to stop so I guess it has something to do with that. 2) The default tilt and zoom makes it absolutly imposible to navegate

Hi Everyone. This post is for the pople that have installed Tomola's image disk for upgrading their 900bt or 700bt units to 3.0003. So far so good. I did everithing that i was supposed to and got the unit working with the new firmware. The next logical step is updating the maps for Europe. I'm right behind you. Got also everithing working fine to the same point. The only doubt I have now is what versión of Igo comes with Tomola's update. Igo8 or Igo 8.3 I suspect is only Igo8 because I got the maps for Igo8.3 and for Spain and UK (the ones I use) there's, besides de usual .fbl, .poi and .3dl, an .3dc file that I don't know what to do with it.

I just found this and i have a little doubt befor going for 3.xxx update. All i've done so far is aply the 2.009 update to my 900bt and for now everything works fine. Still pretty new at this so forgive me if a quiestion has already been unswered or if it is simply stupid. 1) My first priority is updating the WinCE.
