  1. Thanks, great work! That's what I was looking for after spending some time finding proper encoding settings without any success.
  2. I've got many contacts in my Outlook address book, complete with the full address and everything. I want to use those contacts directly in my AVIC F10BT to navigate to them. Without any additional work, I can just use the contact entries to call them. I understand that I need to add the exact location to each entry to be able to navigate there. The iPhone NavGate Feeds app does exactly that, it uses normal Outlook contacts and adds a location information to the entries and syncs that to the F10BT. So far so good, but I couldn't find any way to add those locations to existing con
  3. Isn't that what the button "Link artist" was made for?
  4. VR does work with german settings, I can enter target addresses, give commands like "Spiele iPod" (play iPod) or "Rufe Martin zu hause an" (call Martin at home). But it doesn't seem to accept any commands for selecting albums or titles etc. There is no mention of them in the manual either, neither in the german nor in the english version. Maybe this functionality is implemented only in the US Z110BT but not for the european F10BT? That would really be a shame. However, there might also be a good reason for this not to work, at least with non-english settings. I guess the system woul
  5. Where can you see the VR directory for the iPod? I was wondering if the VR would be able to play albums, genres, bands and playlists directly and my tests were all unsuccessful... but it's supposed to work, isn't it? My problem is also that I don't know the correct way to say the command for the german VR (which I have to use, otherwise the system wouldn't understand the German cities).
  6. The iPod can't synchronize contacts via BlueTooth since that's a mobile phone functionality, which the iPod Touch doesn't offer. It's not Pioneer's fault. What I don't understand, however, is why there seems to be no easy way to use the contacts stored an iPhone(!) as target addresses for the navigation. If that's also a limitation of the Bluetooth protocol (likely) then this functionality should be provided by AVIC feed directly without any workaround. I agree that the user interface could be better, yes, there's a lot of wasted space especially when using an iPod. But I can live wi
  7. My F10BT, which was installed on Dec-23 shows the same behaviour: "Open" does nothing at all and the two tilt buttons are greyed out. My dealer called Pioneer for a replacement unit, which should arrive any day. If it's not a faulty installation it sounds like an error in a whole production line...
