  1. Agree, the plain voice sounds much better then the TTS. I tried it tonight for the fist time and found it much better.
  2. I saw on Crutchfield that they have the Sirius adapeter for $119, XM for $99
  3. I ran into this same problem as well. As stated in the earlier post, you only need the decicated Pioneer Ipod cable if you want to watch videos. For sound alone, you need to connect both the USB cable (for power and control) and Aux cable.
  4. gregm, My steering wheel controls function identically to the factory controls, this is one of the reasons I chose the Z110BT over other Nav systems.
  5. gregm19, The camera on the 2010 Tundra is different from the prior year’s version, it can be modded but if you're paying someone to do the work it's probably not cost effective. As far as your steering wheels controls go, I own a 2010 Tundra as well and just installed the Z110BT a few weeks along with the PAC V1.68. All my steering wheel controls work including voice activation. It took me a few attempts to program the Pac correctly but it wasn't a difficult procedure. No need to run the power wire directly to the battery, I just taped into the power and ground wires located in the ste
  6. No diesel, I just find this an irritating flaw with the system. I normally leave the radio on while getting gas, waiting on the wife, etc. and am just looking for a workaround if possible.
  7. Thanks all, I figured as much. I need to see if I can find a switched power source that remains powered during engine starts. Any of you electronics gurus know if an inline capacitor of some sort would work?
  8. Thanks Robert, I wouldn't think the vehicle type should matter if wired correctly. Once on Acc it should be getting constant power. What's strange is that I don't remember this happening when I first wired it up. It would black out momentarily but immediately come back up. I'm going to play with some of the settings to see if it makes a difference.
  9. Hi all. I just installed my Z110 a few days ago and I'm experiencing a problem that I hope isn't normal. If I get in my truck and turn the key to the accessory position the HU powers up normally. Now if I go from ACC to start after listening to music or playing with the Nav for a few minutes, the HU turns completely off and takes a minute or so to come back on. The buttons don't even illuminate during this process. It's almost like the HU has to completely power down before it can come back up. Twice when this happened I was listening to songs on my thumb drive and when the HU finally c
  10. ikon66 - I'm in the US, are these the updates the same? Thanks!
  11. Hi everyone. I just finished installing a AVIC Z110BT and want to make sure I have the latest firmware update. I've searched this forum along with Pioneer's web site and haven't been able to track down this information. My current version is 1.0000, is this most current version? If not, where can I download the latest update? The owner’s manual explains how to update but doesn’t indicate where to download the file from. Thanks for the help!
