  4. I was able to see my imessage screen on the avic however the keyboard on the screen are not working (or should I say if I hit the letter P it would type in A. Has anyone got this feature fully working yet"?
  5. I did the parking bypass and I may have connected the mute wire ill check today assuming it is connected I will disconnect the mute wire Still doesn't explain why I have to turn my ac unit on to make it stop
  6. I am sure most of you have already experienced this by now. When i get into my hot sweltering car the Avic overheats and the ATT function turns on which lowers the music to a mute and stays on. From my previous pioneer headunits I know the problem is simply because of overheating and not a wiring issue. Behind my headunit there is not much room and the only way I can get rid of this is by putting on the AC and closing all vents so the air can cool down my radio and regain my volume. Any of you guys either put a fan behind the headunit to help cool the unit down the hot summer days?
  7. Yes if you are removing double din and replaceing it with one chances are Yes ! I own a GM truck and you have more than enough space.
  8. There goes your problem you don't connect the iphone usb cable into the usb port of the unit. You have to buy the pioneer adapter kit that will use the "Pionneer's" adapter or whatever its called and converts it into a female Usb so that you can run you iphone usb to that. That's what gives your unit full control of your phone. Did I solve it?
  9. Are you guys sure you did it correct? Did you guys download the appradio app for your cell phones also keep in mind the update gets rid of the ipod tab on nav. you have to download carmediaplay app onto your phones to access your music on your phones. also the app button on the nav screen should appear in the center on the screen once you select that your phones should sync in. Huntter did you change your setting for android compatibility in the z150bh??? I think all units are set as iphone default. I am not savy with android phones but I am sure you need an adapter for the micro usb to
  10. Or Fashionable late May 1st. lol
  11. Damn Guys I gotta admit I aint too pleased with the quality even off the Dvd Player of the z150bh. I mean damn we spend a lot money on it hoping its good quality. My advice for you guys out there reading this I would probably lean towards more to go buy AVH-X8500BHS then also buy the navi add on avic-U and you guys would probably have better head units than our z150 HAHA HAHA no seriously ..

    z150 bypass

Hey Guys, It worked on my z150bh just like my previous z110! I grounded the green park wire. worked while I was in park. Didn't feel like driving right away or trouble shooting it so I went ahead and attached a new wire in the position next the mute wire (on the left) and grounded that anyway{attached to the chassis of the unit}. was able to watch dvd movie off my dvd deck and movie off sd card while car was in motion. I did not try iphone 5 capabilities yet (waiting for the usb cable in the mail) I did buy the HDMI adapter however I cannot test the video function until I have the other cab
  13. I need Instalation advice I cannot wire the WPI with the (Red wire) with my Gmos-04 harness , the wpi frys my gmos04. Anybody got any ideas where i can get an alternate power source besides the red wire coming from the harness. Thanks
  14. How come the Sd videos cannot play on rear displays?
  15. Phew thank god i figured it out. At first i thought my fuse block went. (very expensive to replace) So it happend to be the GMOS-04 went bad. Could of it been the WPI IR Reciever? I wouldnt doubt it!!!. So i went and bought a new GMOS-04 and swaped the circuit boards and returned it. Now i have to find another wire where i can get my power source from to feed the IR Reciver. ( maybe the ciggerette lighter wires) I probably wont do this until the summer time. I hate working on my car in the winter.
  16. Woah just ran into a problem after installing the PAC wpi my fuse blew under the hood so after replacing it mini 10a the hu stays on even when keys are out and door is open? I disconnected the PAC and it still on what could this be ? Bad fuses?
  17. Yep my cd-sr100 works as well I'm confirming this remote.
  18. Hey were you able to confirm if the CD-SR1 is compatible? if so is all i need is the PAC WRI-P and CD-SR1 for my z110? and are all buttons fucntional.
  19. Thanks Blue! you gave me a great idea i did the by pass in 30 seconds without cutting the harness or relocating anywires... Check out my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdERUzrlJ3U
  20. The yellow wire is connected to my brown Mute wire on the gmos04 car harness.(whats it funtion?) In order for me to move the yellow mute wire over i would have to disconnect it with my brown mute wire. And Exactly what will i be discconecting? what is the purpose of the "Mute" wire. If i move the wire then theres no point for a switch.
  21. Ask my installer? okay hold on... I asked myself and i aint got no clue.. lol When i hit over 10 mph the screen warning turns on. Its gotta be some singnal being sent to the HU letting it know i am in drive. Would this be the vss wire?
