  1. Yes, it wil work, I have done it. Upgrade my 110 to a 130 software and installed the ND-TMC110. Did this about 6 months ago.
  2. Installed the Traffic tuner Saturday. Works great, I like it.
  3. I agree with you. I mentioned this to the dealer. Sounds like another way of Pioneer forcing people to buy the new units.
  4. There were talking about the ND-TMC10 not the MSN tuner. The thought being the new models were all going to have the traffic tuner as part of the head unit. At least that is what the Audio shop told me. I got mine from Crutchfield for $99.99 and free shipping. Ordered it yesterday and is scheduled for delivery on Thursday. I'm away this weekend so I guess next week sometime for the install. I did not know you could still buy the MSN tuner.
  5. I just upgraded my Z110 to the Z130 and wanted to install the traffic tuner. I went to the local audio shop which is also a authorized Pioneer dealer to purchase the tuner and have it installed. When they went to order the traffic tuner Pioneer told them it is discontinued and they were not able to get it. I went to Crutchfield and ordered from them. Pioneer said that once the existing supply is gone that will be it. So if anyone is thinking about installing the traffic tuner you might want to move on it. Once the audio shops supply is gone that will be it. So says Pioneer. Just wanted to pass
  6. That is what I did. I'm not interested in the 140bt so I puchased the 130 upgrade. Everything installed fine. Now I'm looking for the ND-TMC10 to take advantage of the traffic information.
  7. That is he way HD is setup. I did not like it so I pulled the HD out. Like the displays on the preset better. I can live without HD.
  8. This was help to me also. I highlighted the section in the manual for future reference. Thanks.
  9. I buy all my cables from MonoPrice.com. Can't beat the price or fast delivery. Depending on the length you can probably pick 1 up for under $1.
  10. Seems like I need to have my XM checked out. I seem to lose reception more than I think it should. I too got the year special for $77. That is why I went with it.
  11. Has anyone seen a difference in reception between the XM and Sirius. I have Sirius in my car and all most never loose reception. The XM in my truck I seem to loose the XM reception a lot. I had the antenna under the dash, then moved it to the top of the dash but no change in reception.
  12. Got MS working on my z120bt. It turned out I had to adjust a setting in the Itunes. Synced my Ipod and everything is good. I played around with MS on the radio. It is not bad. Cute function. Thanks for all your help IKON66, much appreciated.
  13. Ok thanks. The MS playlists don't show up on my Ipod. If they are on your Ipod then the MS should work for you. Maybe I will talk to Pioneer or stop into a pioneer audio install shop and ask them.
  14. Thanks Appreciate the help. By the way like the wheels on your car. Are the stock or aftermarket?
  15. I must be missing something. The MS shows up on the right side of Itunes. The MS playlist are created, I see and can display them in Itunes, but for some reason when I sync my Ipod the playlists do not transfer over.
  16. Anybody?? Does anybody have the Music Sphere working. For some reason when I sync my Ipod to Itunes the playlists created by the Music Sphere software does not transfer over. What I am I doing wrong.

    Musicsphere

I STT and stil need help. I upgraded to the Z120BT and trying to get musicsphere to work. I downloaded the app, it analized my Itunes and created the playlists in Itunes. I synced everything up, but when I hook my IPOD up the radio the musicsphere has nothing. It spins nice but nothing is there. What am I doing wrong. Thanks
  18. Also with HD you loose all the information with the presets. I use my radio like the TV, I'm always surfing. HD did not work for me. The sound quality is better with HD. That was about the only thing I liked. When I weighted everything out it was a no brainer for me to dump it.
  19. I had HD and took it out. I lost the source for AM/FM. It was all under HD and I did not like the way to switch/toggle between the 2.
  20. Yes. I have the Z110bt and I have it setup for traffic. I have a stationed preprogrammed and just hit traffic and I get traffic and weather. It will only let you memorize 1 station for traffic and weather.
  21. Pulled the HD module out and put in the XM module. The HD sound was nice but I like the presets for AM/FM and switching between the 2 without scrolling through the FM band. Got XM activated for the $77 with ZWINBACK.
  22. Installed the XM module and activated for the $77 coupon special. What a deal.
  23. Talked to the Pioneer tech rep about not having the preset listing with HD radio. He told me on certain in-dash receivers this is true you do not have the preset listings. He also said this is not a malfunction, it was programmed that way. I told him I thought it was a problem and was removing the HD module and going back to am/fm radio.
  24. Thanks for putting me in my place. You are correct. I did not do my homework. Thanks to you after more research on my part I want XM instead of Sirius. Looks like the Z110BT can handle both. I need to check with the audio store to get XM, I think they push Sirius.
  25. I hope this promo is still good, I'm going to try it. I have the Z110BT with HD and don't like the HD. I plan to pull the HD module out, the store will give me my money back or switch it over for Sirius. If this special is still good and I can get Sirius for $77 I think that is what I'm going to do.
