Silly question, but is something supposed to start? I just get the windows ce desktop. If I start ezrider it crashes.

Any chance you could disable to rt search when you're looking for a POI? It slows the 900 waaaay down.

My concern is mainly with the maps and skins. I don't have one of these units so I can't mess around with them directly. Anyone tried putting control panel items on a USB stick and launching them from there to see what happens?

So how's it looking on these units? Is it time to upgrade? Do we have access to me maps?

Condiczek, can you please elaborate a little more on the NAV system of this? Is it running an iGO flavor? Abb, if it's running iGO there's some "tricks" that can be done to obscure a lot of the data and directories. It's a possibility that's what is happening. **EDIT: There aren't any map files there. Condiczek, is it possible there's another hidden partition or something like that?

Hey all, just wanted to share this.....I got a 32gb model Saturday. It works great. Much, much faster than using USB.

Silly question here, but can I install this from a USB stick? I don't intend to make it bootable, but I've got my own testmode SD card with some "extras" I'd like to keep.

Sometimes when I do a search, nothing pops up. It looks as though I don't have POI lists installed. When I reboot they are there. Anyone know what could be causing this?

Poke around here a little more. You'll need testmode on the F700BT. After that, all you are really going to need are either navteq or the other maps(I use navteq).

I posted about this awhile back and after some searching and experimentation it can be done. If u have a poi list from google earth just export the kml file and stick it on a usb or sd. Boot to testmode and go to APL2. Now, create a directory structure like this: igo8/content/userdata/poi Drop the kml file in there and reboot. Now in the poi list your poi s should show up as their own listing.

Hey diaftia, I have been trying to manage favorites, and I can't seem to get the Audio selector to disappear on the favorites screen. Is this by design? What is the command to hide it?

Please check around this site for some information on this. Certain features such as TMC aren't available if you do this, because the US version isn't configured for that. Poke around and you should find what you're looking for.

My F900BT has been unbricked. It seems that windows CE was corrupted and the guys that unbricked it just reinstalled windows and all is now well.

Reboot loop, or it shuts down instantly.
