yeah i bought the same disc off that ebay guy too.... i thought it was legit... and ended up messing up my avic d3 so i did that language setting change thing... and now using the old discs... i'll try your method... just wondering is it still working so far????

got sick and tired of the blank screen and the lagging from the burnt cd..... i just went back to the old cd. i just didn't think the update was worth all the hassle.

i downgraded using the english language option. the upgrade is not worthy my headunit going crazy..... thank you for the instructions on downgrading.

i have the same issue..... the update and everything was fine.. and couple of days after the update was fine.. but yesterday in the middle of the freeway my screen went blank.. but the music was playing fine.... but nothing on the touch screen but i was able to control everything with the side button. i got off the freeway and turned my engine off and then back on... it was back to normal after that but i'm afraid it might come back again.

i am having the same problem. everything else in the radio works like functionality and stuff.. but the interior speakers are not coming out. this normally happends to me when i park my car outside or the outside temperature is really hot.... the interior speakers shut off. but i have one amplifier hooked up to the subwoofer and the subwoofer has sounds. but the interior speaker which is hooked up to the radio wire has no sounds. I'm really frustrated with this problem too.... i have a base model 350z? what car do you have? Any any suggestions or solutions from all you audio gurus ou

after burning the cd and setting the picture on the option, when you take out the cd... and stick in the navigation cd.... the images disappear? or are images stored as a memory or something????

sorry about this... and i'm new to the d3 too... i did all that making the folder and sticking some pix in there on a cd.. but once the cd is taken out.. the picture is gone..... or am i wrong??? is there anyway to save the images when the cd is taken out???
