1) pac-swi-ps 2) it has to be bypassed. there are plenty of threads on how to do it 3)two totally different machines, but probably not worth an extra $1,000 -

if you want an even cleaner look, there is a company called SEM that makes sprsy paint specially designed for plastic and vinyl. it is also made in exact colors to match factory interior dashboards

MisFit replied to dirtrider's topic in Vehicle Specific Wiring
Speed Sense gray/black wiper motor or PCM The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the passenger side firewall. The VSS wire is in the plug closest to the fender, pin 13. may also be at radio harness Reverse Light black/pink + driver kick, harness to rear -
i guess you could get it at radio shack. just put it inline between the two wires. without it, you'll get a thump through your sub every time the avic powers up the factory amp
-
yes to all, but you need a 3k ohm resistor between the blue/white from the avic and the blu/white from the harness
-
no, panasonic has one
-
you might be out of luck on that one. in my own experience on newer fords, those wires to the abs module dont give you what you need either
-
No, its just ignorance. Fords are the most bsic cars for wiring. No can data involved yet
-
your installer is an asshole. there is a red/black illumination wire in the radio harness. and if that for some reason didnt work he can go right to the headlight switch and use the brown parking light wire
