I have been using this for > 6mo with no problems. It's not "HD" but it works well in day/night and I have not run over any children since I installed it. -C

I have heard some people using a ground loop isolator. I just deal with it. I have been too lazy to buy and install one As an aside I feel like the lines we see are from the infrared lights. -C

I have had a similar problem in a 2003 tundra using a 920 and the metra steering wheel interface. Never reprogrammed anything, just checked connections. Specifically my ground was poor. Working great again. If mine does it again I will get off my butt and follow the instructions and solder the connections. -C

I eventually got mine, took months. I actually had forgotten about it when it arrived.
