Hi everyone, so the 2012 update for the Australian AVICs finall came out. I have just updated mine and while there are some great new features...one thing that has changed that i am upset buy is the lack of POI icons and their company logos! I use BP service stations and it was nice having BP logos appear rather than just a generic petrol station logo. these little things were the things that made you keep the AVIC over getting a real GPS unit like a Tomtom! Also my Navteq maps are terrible compared to Whereis...this is a big downgrade by Pioneer!

hi, yeah i've tried that. works fine while you are in that 'session', but once you turn the car off and start a new trip, it goes back to being behind the 8-ball. (yes its all hooked up correct before anyone askes have i hooked up the power properly)

Just buy the F30BT, it will work. simple really... trust me im from australia.

Hi, i have just bought the F930BT here in australia. so far it a lot better than my F910BT! thanks goodness and so it should be. However i am slowly building a list of navigation 'issues' that i dont like/need solved. One major one is that when you get to your destination, the device does not 'delete' or cancel the route! Does anyone else have this issue?

Hi, can any owners tell me if their z130/f30 will pause their music (from ipod) while on the phone??? My f910 didnt do this and i hate finishing a call and coming back to a new song or even worse a new album!

thats all very odd. mine seriously works 100% same update used on F910BT anmd F500BT. Happy days... This software is from Pioneer... i wouldnt have posted if it didnt work or was dodgy...

i have version 4.0 from my AVIC F500bt (Australian Model) it has a newer build of ezrider.exe (8.3.2.139336) i think we need to get this latest build hacked! who can do this and i will send it to you....

Ok well it certainly works for me! This is a big win! ah correctiong, didnt work as expected. i will email them back and let you know if we have any results!

Hi, there will be a wire (yellow/red I think) that is next to your antenna wire...this needs a proper 12v supple from the car. Put it on the ACC circuit. It doesn't go near the AVIC. AVIC can't supply enough power...

hi diaftia, what do you need from an australian AVIC to get as much customisation correct for AUS as posible?

Hi guys, not sure if you have been having bluetooth issues with your AVIC F series device, but i have. particulary with my iPhone and its phonebook. I sent an email to Pioneer and they sent me new unreleased firmware! I'm going to try it now and see how we go... If it works fine, i'll post a link to the software on my skydrive...
