  1. Just came in from Crutchfield. Now I need a weekend to install all of this! Finally!
  2. Do you have a double din opening? If yes then it will fit. If not, it won't without some modification.

    D3

Not sure but nice car! If you have a double din you should be ok. You may have to re-wire a bit. Not positive if there is a harness that fits that.
  4. Here are the harness and kit product numbers from CF: 120997402 Nissan 350Z Kit 2003-up, E 2003-up, E 1 0 0.00 0.00 120707550 Nissan Wire Harness receiver, receiver, 1995-up I am also installing in a Z soon. I hope nothing else is needed. Do you have the bose or non-bloze system?
  5. I thought the D3 was only compatible with a wired remote? Guess this is a good thing. Wonder if Ebay has it. *edit. $11 not too shabby http://focuscamera.com/sc/froogle-lead- ... =194373592
  6. I see. So you can activate NavTraffic ONLY. Got it. Thx
  7. Shute. I'm prolly off da map too! My house was built in 04...well, maybe I'll be on there. We will wait and see.
  8. Not to flame you or anything but c'mon guys, ya'll have to be realistic. It's a give and take situation. For the money people are paying for the D3, you get a pretty good deal. You can't expect for this system to have everything for only $850....If you want all the bells and whistles you need to get a Z1, Z2, or the Kenwood DNX7100. +1 ^^^
  9. I guess it would depend on what type of car you have but I have seen people drill a hole through their back license plate and have the camera behind that. That might be a last case scenario if you don't have anywhere else to put it though. GL.
  10. Damn that sucks, hope it doesn't do that shit where I live. I wonder if somethings not setup right.
  11. Is it possible to use the NavTraffic feature with Sirius? Probably a dumb question cause I know it is an XM thing, but what if XM and Sirius merge. Is there any possiblity that I will be able to use it somehow? I don't want to switch to XM but I want to use the NavTrafffic if I can.
  12. I'd like to see that thread. How can you crack the screen putting on a film protector If someone finds it, post a link.

    Pioneer Deal

I too was considering that kenwood unit. They make great stuff that lasts. What made me go with the D3? Price and the deal from CF were the main things. Also, the D3 can do most if not all of the things the kenwood does. I think the bottom line for me was if I could live with the 1 slot. In the end, I figured I would keep my NAV disk in there most of the time and run music and possibly videos from an ipod, maybe add a cd changer and use sirius for listening to tunes. So, now I'm just waiting to get the stuff. UPS says it's on the way. Good luck man! *edit* BTW, I have not only nev

    D3 in 04 Tacoma

Nice. How do you like the NavTraffic I have Sirius so I'm wondering how I'm going to get it in mine. I've heard XM/Sirius are merging so I don't know how it's gonna work. By the way, have you thought about a stealth faceplate for when you park in a shady neighborhood? I'm trying to think of a way to make one. Just curious.
  15. ...and another! Guess this is the referral code section now. pd3fi-8huka-sfrup Advisor Name: JAY You can enter this when you are checking out on crutchfield. You can also put this in the special messages section and they will be sure to apply the $20!

  17. Sorry, I can't tell you. But I think if they DO get it in, they will charge full price for it $999 and probably will charge and ARM and 2 legs for the install, if it's done right that is. You probably already know this, but going through an online retailer which is authorized is probably your best bet.
  18. Bye. Now we return you to the originally scheduled program.
  19. Seems like an honest review but they don't mention that you can leave the NAV disk in there and use an IPOD to view videos or listen to music. Also, don't mention that you can hook up a cd changer or possibly in the future a DVD changer. You may also be able to hook up an external dvd player like maybe an XBOX to play dvd disks so the NAV can be left in the slot. I think I will be happy with mine in a few days, on the way from crutchfield!!
  20. How the hell did you get 1200+ threads on this board? Have you ever helped anyone out or do you just give out your worthless opinions. Show me a positive thread that you have posted on this board besides your negative comments (which you keep repeating). Help out or move on bro...Til it hurts. Werd!
