    2012 maps

I have the files & database, but I never looked at them in detail. You're welcome to have a look though I find that the database for the Netherlands is still quite useable, despite being a couple of years old as the fixed camera's don't change too much, and the software also displays camera's it receives via RDS

    2012 maps

No. Teleatlas used to supply one, but they discontinued it see : http://home.planet.nl/~jwq/temp_pioneer/kamera/user_manual_speed_camera_plus_uk.pdf I still have the old Dutch version...

    2012 maps

There's no changes re camera databases etc... The fact that it now states TomTom as supplier of the maps is just because TomTom bought TeleAtlas a while ago, the previous supplier of the maps. TeleAtlas no longer exists as a company, hence all references to TeleAtlas are now changed to TomTom.......

    2012 maps

Seems the new maps are out: http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Accessories/Map-Upgrades/CNDV-1100HD same for the european versions....
  7. Re maps, no clue. Maybe somebody else, but to be honest, I've never read anything about African maps. Just Europe, USA, Russia, and Australia......
  8. as you guessed, If you do not hook up the speedpulse, the system cannot calibrate.....
  9. If you look here under "remote controls" : http://www.pioneer.e...1/overview.html you can see that f.i. the CD-RV1 should work ( http://www.pioneer.e...-RV1/specs.html ) If you have a HD3, you're at least one map update behind, because the latest map update also transforms your HD3 into a HD3-II I don't exactly know what the current version is, but you can at least see the version number under "settings", "hardware" (see manual page 83) Last software update (which also transforms the HD3 into HD3-II ) was in 2010. There have been no further map updates since then, however, acc
  10. I'd first try cleaning it properly... cleaning cd's are rubbish, and often cause more problems instead of solving them. Best way is to open it up and clean the lens with isopropyl alcohol....
  11. re remotes, you can get an infra red wireless remote, or, depending on your car brand, an adapter for a wired remote if you f.i. have buttons on your steering wheel. ( http://www.pioneer.eu/eur/products/25/38/301/overview.html ) Maps for the HD3 (or newer HD3-II, which is basically a software updated HD3) cover all of Europe. In case you don't have the manual, you can find that here: http://www.pioneer.e...D3BT/media.html and for the HD3-II: http://www.pioneer.e...3-II/media.html
  12. Did you get the actual iPod adapter ? Pioneer CD-IB100ii iPod® Interface Adapter http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130IB100II/Pioneer-CD-IB100ii-iPod-Interface-Adapter.html
  13. Probably one of the wires for the bypass has come unseated.... http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html#newbypass
  14. Depends on what you want..... - If you do it as Garret suggested, you can rip to harddisk, which I guess is what you asked..... - if you do it as dub-sport, you can only play from the cd....
  15. See here for instructions: http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html
  16. a Z1 or Z2 upgraded to Z3, becomes a Z3, there's no difference to a unit that started out as a Z3. So you can use any software meant for the Z3.
  17. Z3 requires a different bypass (2 wire bypass), see: http://www.sminntech.com/z1flash.html
  18. Sounds more like the external amp died..... Why don't you try connecting the front speakers directly to the Z2 speaker outputs, leaving the external amp disconnected ?....
  19. Can't help you with the Sirius, we don't have satt.radio in Europe..
