hi, can give me more info on that activator app you mentioned and how to use it?, i need something like that. my setup is similar to yours, i just leave my ipod in the glovebox and doesn't come out unless i need to update my music or movies.

hi, I updated to the new 2.2.0 too, and cant use maps any more, search button in the maps app is gone, so i cant enter an address or POI to navigate to. and half the time i just get a black screen when i try to open a application. that happen on ios 6.1 and 5.1 ( i have 2 ipods) is there a way to downgrade the app on my ipod?

tr7 is only $20, and you don't need a relay with tr7 either. i agree with you on the programming part, but once you figure it out is a piece of cake.

hello to everyone, i just got my appradio 2, and used this thread to set up my tr7. i didn't read all 15 pages of this forum because all the info i needed i found it in the first 4 posts.and thanks to the people making this possible. now, i just want to add some of my findings with the tr7. -first,- you do not need a relay to make it work. you can just wire white and orange directly to the brake input on the appradio, if you are not comfortable with wiring directly, you can use 2 diodes with the cathodes connected one to orange and one to white on tr7, and both anodes to brake wire

you need to convert videos to 640x360 resolution, 900 kbps. i use wondershare video converter.

hi, what about app radio mode? is it the same functionality as an appradio 2?

try downloading the videos from youtube in 360 mp4 quality, and just put in in the sd card, most of the time that works for me. but quality wont be as good.
