  1. My double start issue was caused by the voltage drop when I start my 4x4. I fixed it by running the main 12v wire (the yellow wire) from my aux battery (dual battery setup). I went 4 wheel driving the other weekend and really liked the Oziexplorer maps, very helpful The only thing I would like to change is the default igo program with the one from Diaftia's mod as it look better, but I think I read somewhere that it would be too much work to do???
  2. That could be true as I measured my battery as it was starting and it drops to 3V (from 12V). I have bought a small 12V battery that I am going to wire the head unit to so it has full 12V all the time and see if it makes any difference.
  3. Really enjoying AVICnet so far, except for the double start but I'm working on a fix for that... Just wondering if anybody knows where the settings would be found for the screen dim for when you turn your headlights on? The original software and a some of the other mods still dimmed the screen when you turned your headlights on but AVICnet doesn't.
  4. Thank you It worked great. It seems when I loaded the AVICnet Flash Disk stuff on I went into the \My Flash Disk\User\UserData\iGo\SAVE folder and deleted eveything (including the userlists folder) so there wasn't any saved settings in there...whoops Now I just gotta play around a bit to get Primo working properly. I seem to be having the bug as others with the fault "Looking for GPS" on the screen but when I tap on the GPS icon it shows it has a strong signal from 7 to 9 satellites. And I just gotta work out where to put the Tom Tom maps I have so it works too Thanks once agai
  5. I know your still trying to get this perfected on the American and European models before you work on a version for the Australian models...so I decided to have a bit of a play for myself and see what I can come up with. Anyway, I managed to get it running (iPod, phone, bluetooth, and maps)....BUT, when I select the Navigation option it doesn't give me any choices such as Tom Tom, Oziexplorer, iGo, iGo2, Primo ect... If I push the Maps button on the unit it runs the standard iGo maps (which I'm fine with), but I would really like to know how to bring the option up for Oziexplorer maps. I
  6. Hi Ryar, How about a copy of "My Flash Disk" from and Australian F900BT for an Australian version??? I have this unit in my Toyota HiLux 4X4 and the iGo maps are useless offroad. I'd love to be able to put an OziExplorer map on it for offroad use
  7. How did you go Kingsnake? I have a F900BT (Aust) and would like to upgrade my maps too.
  8. Sounds like a good plan. I'll have to get some spare time now to find the "How To's" and do it, the gps isn't working at the moment so hopefully an update might fix it
  9. I have a F900BT. I know it isn't what your after but if I can help I will. Mine has not been modded in anyway so it is still all original. I'm on here to try and fix a problem with my GPS no longer working.
