  1. The iPhone creates that interface and then sent it to the appradio by video cable, the original appradio cable send both audio and video by the look a like s-video cable, if you use the normal usb cable you'll miss the interface and audio.. that's why you get that black screen.. i've soldered one of the cables inside the dock connector of the black appradio cable lol..
  2. Nice job! Hope someone can help you! See ya!
  3. I left the review on the appstore telling that iPod Out interface is generated by iPhone itself. If you use a display out cable from the iPhone you don't get that interface. It's activated by a special command, or resistance in the cable. I don't know. The problem with CarMediaPlayer App is that isn't embedded in the iOS. iPod out can be always displayed. It doesn't matter what app you're running in the iPhone. While CarMediaPlayer needs to be running to send out video signal. We need Apple to redesign the iPod Out interface, or Pioneer to add CarMediaPlayer App to the AppRadio firmware.
  4. I'm thinking seriously to change my AppRadio to one of the JVC units.
  5. I bought the app, for me is useless.. I have to repeat several times to get it working..
  6. But you won't be able to use touchscreen on appradio to controll iphone.. And maybe you'll lose iPod mode on appradio too.. I have a 4s and the HDMI adapter but mirroring is to buggy.. Hope gets solved on 5.1
  7. USB cable can't handle video, doesn't matter what brand or kind of device..
  8. I think it ok if you only want AM/FM Radio, play music from your iPhone, and ocasionally play videos, use gps, intenet radio. If you have more that 2 external amplifiers forget it.. For the reasons above I'm switching to a X930bt.. Parametric eq, auto eq function, 3 pair RCA preout, lpf, hpf, etc..
  9. Hi everyone! I've just made that wallpaper for mine.. Here's the link if someone want it. http://www.paginasprodigy.com.mx/fidellopezzz/NX120_BG_1.zip
  10. Cheers! Same here.. I'm from Mexico.. I think that you can get all files that goes in the Nand on the firmware update. There are only 2 extra files that I have on my nand that there aren't in the firmware update file. I've uploaded the zip with these two files here: http://www.paginasprodigy.com.mx/fidellopezzz/2files.zip Try copying these two files on the nand too with all the firmware update zip content. Tell us if it works..
  11. Interface files are on sample.dui, but no idea how to unpack it.. Also not to much to do on windows folder..
  12. Nice work rsquared!! Maybe we can create a thread for sharing our backgrounds..
  13. djsri if you have a ce5 emu just put all nand files on a folder (or maybe you can use the ones you downloaded) and run cis.exe. I havn't tried that yet, but in Win CE in the HU if you execute that file it loads the appradio interface..
  14. Ok the easy way.. Copy that file to SD card, and open it with your pc, it's a bmp image. Then edit it or save any image you want with the same name (nx120_bg_2 or nx120_bg_1 depending which one you want to replace) same size (800 x 480) and same file extension (BMP 24 Bits in paint). Finally copy and replace one or both files on the Wallpaper directory in the nand.
  15. Yup. I've to confirm I just changed the wallpaper by starting Windows CE with the file posted above.. Then I opened WIndows Explorer and open Nand Memory. There you'll find all appradio system files structured like the updates. As crakavelli says.. let's the hacking begin!!
