I've disconnected the AR2 GPS - tomtom now works and the speed indicator on navfree also finally works.... Difficult to see how the AR2 GPS provides any benefit!

So, on the basis that my understaning was that Pioneer highlighted new functionality was a simple firmware upgrade, what are the chances Pioneer will issue the original AppRadio an update soon that provides the same UI and functionality as AppRadio 2?

I have the CableJive DockXtender cable - works perfectly - both audio and video signals pass through the cable. More expensive than eBay items but this one works. Most other cables either only supply power or at best power and audio. The first cable I purchased had an issue not passing video but CableJive were very responsive and quickly sent another cable to UK which worked as expected. Recommend. +1

Hi Mike Great work and app but having some issues. Some apps work and some don't. For example, the standard Apple Calculator works. It switches to landscape mode and the display shown on the AppRadio. BBC iplayer however switches to landscape but does not display on the AppRadio. However if I disable the app from Autotoggle, enable Display Out and then select BBC iplayer, turn my iPhone to landscape it displays the screen on the AppRadio. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
